I think it is really weird that a) Katie still carries Suri, a 6-year-old around all of the time and
b)carries around her blanket (if you are going to let your 6-year old bring a blanket outside the house at least make her carry it herself.) I am a kindergarten teacher and this is ridiculous that a 1st grader is treated like an infant.

It's not about the mommy, it's about the child! A girl needs her daddy too, if he is a good man, and nobody has ever said that Tom has not been a good father to Suri or his other children.

This poor child is tramautized daily with the idiot media rushing toward her, scaring her, intruding in her privacy. That is hard for a little child. Her mothers comfort is ok ! Leave her alone.

Regarding Suri, I also feel that she is being babied. If Katie feels there is a security issue, then she should hired a bodyguard for her. Frankly, I think this child is a spoiled one.

The next time I read a blog, I hope that it doesnt disappoint me as much as this one. I mean, I know it was my choice to read, but I actually thought youd have something interesting to say. All I hear is a bunch of whining about something that you could fix if you werent too busy looking for attention.

I'm sure she's always carrying her because they are always being swarmed. And i have to say, I'm not the biggest Katie Holmes fan, but she seems to have her head on straight. Too many celebrities leave one person only to jump into another relationship. It's so unhealthy… ESPECIALLY when there are children involved. How long was it before J. Ho's kids were photographed frolicking with her new boyfriend? She wasn't even divorced yet. It's disgusting. Katie is doing single parenting right. And this is coming from another single mom.

Re: Caley – I TOTALLY AGREE!!! In every single photo I see of Katie Holmes she is always trying to cradle Suri on her hip like she's a baby. It looks so awkward and uncomfortable and ridiculous. Suri is clearly way too big and her limbs are too long, to be constantly carried around…it's kind of gross to look at.

Come on Katie…Suri is old enough to wear high heels and all that makeup which makes her look like a clown, so let the child WALK. Suri is not a baby…Katie is starting to walk with a lean to one side these days.
