Beyoncé Is NOT Clint Eastwood's Star!

Oh noooooo, BEY!!! What's UP girl?!

Can't you manage having a music career, being all political, having a small baby-child AND starring in a Clint Eastwood flick, all at the same time?!

Remember what you said? Who run the world? GIRLS!!!

Well, guess part of ruling the world is making the tough choices, and she certainly had to make one this week. Beyoncé has dropped out of Clint Eastwood's remake of A Star Is Born, claiming she is just TOO busy to get involved with the production right now. Yes, she is VERY busy! You know, dancing on stage with her hubby Jay-Z and all. Sadface.

AND this news just adds salt to the wounds we suffered, after our dreams of seeing Bradley Cooper as Beyoncé's fading star-lover were dashed after he DENIED rumors of him 'definitly' starring in the project…

Siiiiiggghhh.

But no worries, the show WILL go on, and it seems Clint is eyeing up jazz musician Esperanza Spaulding to fill Bey's stiletto heels. He's also approached a bunch of A Listers to portray the leading gentlemen, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Tom Cruise, Christian Bale, and Johnny Depp.

And we hear Bradley is still being considered! So stem those tears, Cooper lovers of the world!

Good - she is not a great actress (Jennifer Hudson easily out-acted her in Dream GIrls). I wonder if Beyonce's and Clint's political views had anything to do with her no longer being in this project?

I never thought Beyonce or Bradley Cooper were right for this film. My vote is for Gaga and Robert Downey Jr (he can sing). Remember, she is supposed to be young and a bit insecure in the business. And he is supposed to be older and wasted. Just my two cents.

Christina Aguilera is perfect for A Star Is Born

She probably didn't like Clint's monologue to a chair. I, too, was disappointed in Clint–I thought he was pretty progressive. I guess not.

Re: divakawa – I love her - but she is a bit old for the role. Maybe they should remake it with a role reversal - put Christina in the Kris Kristoferson role and get a young guy like Efron to play opposite her.

good, the movie has already been improved. I'm not in to these re-makes. really can you beat Whitney Houston and Kevin Costner. i guess they have run out of original ideas

I am pretty sure she is PREGNANT!!! Anyways….I think either X-Tina, Esperanza or even Solange would be amazing!

Too bad Clint made himself a bigot recently, won't see any of his movies unless I find them pirated online.

Surprised to see Clint making a remake. No suggestions on the cast, not too many younger actresses I like these days. Singes - bad suggestion.

Actually Beyonce has shown a lot of depth as an actress and growth. With each film she gets better and better. As for Dreamgirls, her role in that was passive. It's no surprise the JH got more attention and the award. That said, I believe her when she sites the scheduling issues. She's doing a lot at the same time and with no leading man it would be too hard to keep any time blocked off for the project. IMO the key here is going to be the script because it's going to have to be reworked in a major way to reflect how the business is now. To the person who noted Whitney and Kevin Costner — wrong film. The last time this was remade was more than 30 years ago with Streisand.

I'm a Judy Garland fan and I don't like it when they make remake movies of Icons, to boost careers, of want a be actors No one could sing like Judy and Clint is a guy that makes my day

Actually Judy Garland was not in the original film. I think the original film dates back to the 1930s.

Political? Her husband's empire was started on drug money. He brags about it. I guess it no longer matters how dirty your money is as long as you contribute. Hoping they raise their daughter better. No loss for Clint.
