Bad News Bears Actress Dies In Drunk Driving Accident!

Ugh! Such a shame.
Sammi Kane Kraft, the real-life baseball player who took on Tatum O'Neal's role in the 2005 remake of Bad News Bears, has died.
The 20-year-old lost her life in an early morning collision on Thursday along El Lay's 10 Freeway.
She was riding shotgun when her friend crashed an Audi into a tractor trailer while "traveling at a high rate of speed" and then got hit by another car as a result.
21-year-old Molly Kate Adams was only treated for moderate injuries, but Kraft was not so lucky and was pronounced dead at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. Authorities suspect alcohol may have been a factor, so Adams has been arrested for felony drunk driving.
We're sure this young woman already feels terrible and deeply regrets her decision to drive under the influence, but when are people going to learn?
How many more examples must we read about in the news before the message clicks?
DON'T drink and drive!
Our hearts go out to Sammi Kraft's friends and family during this difficult time. May her soul rest in peace.

Lindsay - Take note.
Do NOT get in a car with a drunk driver. I lost a friend this way and it is SO upsetting that it could have been avoided if she made a better decision.
this is so tragic…yes, people die in automobile accidents regardless of being sober or not….HOWEVER, driving drunk OR getting in a car where the driver is drunk is a death sentence…as this accident proves….sad sad sad.
My nephew worked with her on the movie "Bad News Bears"…We are stunned to find this out. What a tragic ending to a beautiful life.
