Jemima Kirke had a lot more to talk about in her recent Vice interview than just her pregnant belly!
In a strange twist of fate, it turns out that the Girls star had met reporter Annette Lamothe-Ramos years before she showed up at her family's East Hampton home to interview her.
When both women were just 18-years-old, they met at a bar in New York City and Kirke offered her bumps of cocaine off her keys while peeing on the toilet! After her memory was jogged, the pregnant 27-year-old mom, actress and artist wasn't bashful to respond with:
"Oh yeah! I do remember that, and that you seemed somewhat impressionable at the time. So I thought, 'I could probably get this girl to do drugs with me.'"
We don't condone drug use, but we LOVE how she handled that and appreciate her honesty. There aren't too many celebs out there who are willing to address a question like that on the record!
And although it's not hard to tell she was quite the wild child, her drug days are long gone, as she explained:
"I think that way of life stopped working for me really quickly. Some people know how to balance things, at least enough to be able to continue messing around, but I didn’t. I was very all-or-nothing about it, and you burn out really quickly if you keep going that way. It really f*cked me."
Sadly, too many people get stuck in that type of lifestyle. Speaking of which, Kirke heard about Lindsay Lohan's September 19th hit-and-run in the middle of the interview and couldn't stop herself from commenting:
"Oh, Lindsay strikes again! I’m reading the Post and she f*cking hit a pedestrian again with her SUV.
Are you serious?
It was at 2:30 AM, too. That’s not a good look.
She hasn’t grown up yet.
No, she definitely hasn’t, and I don’t think she ever will."
One day soon, hopefully. One day soon.
