Hold us, we're afraid!

NBC released the first batch of stills for Mockingbird Lane and we're soooo confident the pictures will be terrifying that we've buried our head in our hands!!

Okay, maybe we'll sneak just one peek…

What the…? We thought Mockingbird Lane was a scurrrrry reboot of the classic '60s sitcom, The Munsters!?

This family is CUTE!

Jerry O'Connell and Portia de Rossi are adorbzies as a couple, though something tells us they won't fall in love off screen, LOLz!

And Eddie Izzard should be a fantastic choice to play Grandpa Munster!

Mockingbird Lane premieres October 26 — just in time for Halloween!

Check out more stills from the pilot (below)!

I read today that they are showing the pilot as a special as NBC desided the fate of the show. Some reports are saying its been scrapped, others are saying it will be.

Portia? I thought that was Calista Flockheart! And I thought Marilyn was supposed to be beautiful? The running joke of the original show is missing as well. Which nixes any connection to the original. Herman is supposed to be horrendously frightening in appearance. like Frankenstein, remember? and what happened to WolfBoy? This disaster is closer to The Adams Family. ANd NOT in a good way. MY condolences to Izzard. He's the only watchable factor.

I agree the family is anything but scary! I’m so gald that they decided to show this on the 26th, perfect time for Halloween. I love Holiday programming and I also love the original Munsters so I can’t wait to see this newer take on it. I’m glad my DISH coworker suggested I watch. I’ll be recording it on my Hopper with the PrimeTime Anytime feature. I love how this feature allows me to record all prime time programming that comes on the four major networks, without the use of individual timers.
