    Leona is way better than Rihanna (VOCALLY BETTER). Nuff said. But I would love to hear her version of we found love, and I saw Calvin Harris tweeted about it that he was listening to Leona's version of We Found Love. WANNA HEAR IT SO FREAKIN BAD!

    whether leona recorded we found love first, i doubt it if that would be a worldwide hit. compared to rihrih who is famous to diff parts of the world. so i don't care about her version. it's so stupid that she is now claiming that she recorded it first now that the song was a huge success. so what does she wants? UGH the nerve of some FLOP ARTISTS!!!

    Uhhhh she writes most of her own music, it's just that Calvin Harris wanted to see what her voice would be like on his track…it's called a collaboration. And Leona is VERY successful in the UK and around the world. She had an amazing track with Afrojack, and her music is much deeper than Rihanna's. Although i'm not the biggest fan of her new song "Trouble", Leona's vocals KILL most people's. Her range is spectacular…On the other hand…I love Rihanna.

    No doubt Leona sang it better, she is a great vocalist, unlike Rihanna who has the whiniest voice out there. I went to her concert once and that was a total waste of time and money, she cannot sing live to save her life.

    Sour grapes? She did say her version probably wouldn't have been as successful. It's no big secret that all these hits these singers sing get passed around from singer to singer. Some record their versions of it only to see it never released, while others turn some of them down.

    LMAO! Bitch please! It was tailored to fit Rihanna's voice! We know you're pressed Leona! Calvin probably had her sing the demo, LOL, but make no mistake, it was WRITTEN FOR RIHANNA. Even the execs at Def Jam as well as Calvin Harris say so. Such a shame that she's bitter about missing out on a 10-week #1 hit on the Billboard Hot 100 that also won the coveted Video of the Year at the VMAs.

    I couldn't picture Leona singing it. Her voice is too shaky (going by her past work) to put forth a straightforward tone with various rapid pitch changes as Rihanna can pull off.

    I don't think she was being sour. She said if she'd have released it probably wouldn't have been a big a hit. I really don't think Rhianna has the pipes. Yeah she has some catchy songs but in comparison I'd rather Leona sing me a song. But it's like Brittney Spears, her stuff is catchy and she's a good dancer but she doesn't have the pipes.

    Hands down Leona wins in the vocal department. However, as great as a singer Leona is her voice is only suited for one type of music and that's generally ballads. There's only a few great singers that are capable of blending in well with other genres of music. I have Leona's first album and all the ballads are great, then you get to the more up tempo ones and it's kind of like the music is moving but she just can't catch up. So, like everyone I'm curious to know how her version sounds, but would it be better? Idk

    This is exactly why Rihanna is more successful than Leona. I bet Ri heard the song and jump right on it. This song was 100% on brand for Rihanna. Clearly Leona made a poor business choice. If she had it first, she should have moved. When I think of this song and the visuals for the video, it was perfect for the saga that is Ri and Chris. It seems as that this song came right out of Rihanna's diary. That is why her fans connected. If you didn't know any better it would seem as though she wrote it, or that it was written exclusively for her. We all know better vocals do not equal a hit! With Rihanna there is a story. There may very well be one with Leona, i just don't know what it is. I feel like I know Rihanna, but have no clue who Leona really is. I am 100% sure I would have liked Leona's version. However, it would not have been as believable as Ri. I have nothing to connect LL's version to. Rihanna on the other hand, it was like art imitating life. That is what most people look for in an ARTist! Even though she may sound like cat live, as some have said. Ri believes in what she is singing! You can see the honesty in her delivery of it. THAT IS WHY SHE IS WINNING!

    I'm very glad that the song ended up being released by Rihanna and it's not even so much about the song itself. I think the song just became this massive hit because the incredibly genius music video made the song. I highly doubt Leona would have shot such music video if the song would have been released by her.
