    I do not think so!!! Niether person are fit for the role. When I read the trilogy I did not envision a short Ana w/ a voice thats raspy nor man who does not come close to Christians description. Plus these two do not look good together!!! I see Ana being played by Debroah Ann Woll who plays Jessica on True Blood and Christian should be played by Ian Somerhalder!!!

    No no no no. While it would be a huge guilty pleasure for me to see Tom Hardy getting down and dirty on the big screen, he is FAR too talented of an actor to take on this huge pile of mediocrity. His name is only being thrown around because Kelly Marcel is writing the screen play. I highly doubt Tom will sign on for this. Besides, he's sure to have a pretty full schedule with Mad Max, Cicero, Everest, the 60's biker gang movie he wants to do, and that anti-poaching deal with Leo & Tobey McGuire.

    They're messing the movie up already D: Mila is too sexy to play Ana. And Tom Hardy doesn't work it for me. Ian Somerhalder or Matt Bomer are the only 2 options that could possibly pull off Christian perfectly, and Lucy Hale or Minka Kelly would be perfect for Ana.

    Ian Somerhalder has to play Christian Grey, he is 100% perfect for the role. Don't care much about who plays Ana, as long as she looks sweet and very girl-next-door.

    TOM HARDY is PERFECT, he is the only actor that can pull this off. Everyone else will look stiff and unbelievable. If he gets the part, I will certainly pass out. I like Mila too, every other female actress people mention are not sexy enough for the part. When I heard that these two were frontrunners, I was like HELL YEAH.

    I could imagine Emmy Rossum as Ana, she´sgot the right attititude …I can see her reading a lot of classical English Literature…she´s the romantic type! As Christian I would like Cillian Murphy! He´s not that famous and not sooo sexy at first sight - but he can play sexy and dominant..that voice and these eyes!

    Hardy doesn't fit the look of Grey nor do I think he has the chops to pull off Grey. He is way to type casted in peoples minds for one and honestly his face is not appealing to many women. I don't find him handsome at all, tbh. I really hope the Author gets some say in casting and negs this duo out the door. I will whole heartily stand by the fact I think Ian, Boomer or someone similar to them should be Grey and an Up and Coming or slightly unknown actress needs to be Anna. This mix will be absorbed nicer and cleaner then any other mix (considering there is only one single actress that I believe has the look and feel to pull of Ana.. but she lacks the ability of acting for it). No I do not mean K-Stew.. that girl can't act good enough to even bring Tinker Bell back to life. A. Green has the look but not a strong enough actress.

Bale is to old to play Grey… if this was 8-10 years ago I highly doubt anyone else would have a chance at playing Grey over Bale it would have been his hands down - if he accepted it.
