What do Jon Hamm and Daniel Radcliffe have in common?
We mean besides ridiculous good looks, superlative acting talent, and a passion for Russian literature?
Everything! In their new miniseries, the two hunky actors will be playing the same role!
Set in Russia in 1917, A Young Doctor's Notebook is a dark comedy adapted from the novel by Mikhail Bulgakov. Daniel plays a new doctor, and Jon plays his older self who talks to him from the future.
It's enough to know that these two smart and sexy thespians are stoked! Daniel says:
"I am an obsessive Bulgakov fan, since I read the book when I was 18. It is so compelling and exciting. This is his first book, and he can't help his own crazed imagination coming through. At the first meeting Jon and I had, I said, yes, let's do it."
The Mad Men star in question is equally excited. He says:
"I am thrilled to get the chance to work on such rich material… bringing something original, dark, funny and moving to light. Madness and the macabre."
Hey, if these hot doctors are happy, we're happy! We can't wait!
