There's no question this must be excruciatingly difficult on the entire family.

Before we all put on our
sluttiest scariest Halloween outfits this year, it's time to pick out our purplest because Spirit Day is right around the corner!
Join MILLIONS of other Americans and take a stand against bullying LGBT youth this Friday by wearing purple!
GLAAD has designated October 19 as a day when everyone can show their support for a minority that has struggled for far too long in this country. Join Snooki, JWoww, Pauly D, Paris Hilton, Maria Menounos, Sammi Giancola, Mario Lopez and many others (including Spirit Day Ambassador Perez Hilton) by speaking out against an issue that has already ruined too many lives.
It's so easy. Just put on a purple shirt so your friends, family, co-workers and complete strangers know where you stand.
Want to do more? Even better!
Log on to Twitter to say "I'm standing up to bullies by wearing purple on #SpiritDay 10/19. You should too!" or simply text PURPLE to 80888 to donate $5 for #SpiritDay!
And since it's election season and politics is on everyone's mind, take time to tell both Presidential candidates to say no to bullying and wear purple on #SpiritDay!
It's so easy, but means so much to those that deal with ignorant bullies every day. Click HERE for more info from GLAAD and HERE to see all of the celebrities who are proud to support lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender youth!
