Aw Lady!!!

The QUEEN of our hearts AKA Madonna had to cancel TONIGHT's Dallas concert due to severe laryngitis!!

A post on her website explains:

"Under doctor’s orders, the Material Girl has been put on 'complete vocal rest' for the next 36 hours. All tickets for the October 20th show to be refunded at the point of purchase. Tickets purchased online will refunded directly. Madonna regrets any inconvenience to her fans."

BUT, thankfully for Dallas fans, her scheduled show for Sunday will still go ahead as planned.

We hope your throat is feeling better, Madge! Slurp that honey, guzzle that tea! You wanna be well rested so that SOME Dallas Madgenites get to revere you in your full, MDNA glory!

Isn't she in complete vocal rest from 1989?

  2. 2

Oh dear! It must be quite serious if MadDonna can't even lipsynch. Maybe she has lockjaw as well.

Not happy we travelled from Australia to see her.. Not happy at all..

  5. 5

See, I told her not to mix the prune juice/geritol with alchohol. Would she listen? Nope

I'm having a hard time believing this… how can you not perform on Saturday but can on Sunday? Might it have anything to do with ticket sales? We couldn't sell ours for half face value so thanks for the refund! Canceling… not cool.

  7. 7

If were lucky she will get permanent Laryngitis and will will be done with this has-been.

Re: Leanne sanders – Why in the world would you do that? I feel bad for you but please don't ever make that mistake again. She has a handful of decent songs, honey. :(

The lip synch queen has laryngitis? That's an oxymoron if I've ever heard one.

We are so disappointed she cancelled. All my friends have been looking forward to this Show for months!

I am a fan and will always be one. I had tickets tonight so I am bummed. Well the usual cruel, catty, and bitchy comments appear as normal. That train never seems to be late.

More like she cancelled the show after Denver's response to her violent gun scene…some real sensitivity she's displayed to a state that just had a mass murder… pointing fake guns at a crowd, not cool.

I am so mad! I don't have a lot going on in my life and this was my dream the past 2 months. I hope I can get a refund because I can't afford this ticket. I guess I'll go to S4 with my friend Nick and hang out by the bathroom.

This is such bull shit. I love Madonna. I was raised on Madonna. I have the utmost respect for Madonna. I've been wanting to see Madonna since I could remember, but when she pulls this stuff, it makes me not want to support her in any way. The reason why Sunday's show exists is because of Saturday's show. She should've rescheduled the date or let Saturday's attendees get seats for Sunday's show. Even more so since the real reason why she canceled Saturday's show was not because of her "severe laryngitis," but because neither Saturday's or Sunday's show was sold out. So, to have at least one sold out show, she canceled Saturday's. It's behavior like this that is the reason why she's losing hardcore fans. Even if she does have laryngitis, you shouldn't cancel Saturday's show. Rescheduling would be the most logical, fair, common courtesy, common sense thing to do. This was a complete disregard for her most loyal fans.

Re: DasWassuuuuuuup – I totally agree!! You know tickets when on sale on January and everyone has waited for tonight, ie found sitters, traveled etc. not everyone has so much help as she does. I have been following Madonna for over 20 years and this was the first time I would have seen her. Such a disappointment to her loyal fans. I am not sure I will be able to be a fan any longer. I think that is horrible that she canceled and as people have said…all of a sudden she is going to be fine tomorrow. The reason there is a tomorrow is because of tonight's concert. I guarantee she wouldn't have pulled this when she was just starting out. Now she just doesn't care!!!

20,000 folks in Dallas don't consider being pissed on an "inconvenience". To cancel again without rescheduling, don't expect support if you try and come here again. Maybe I'll send hydrangeas to her hotel to let her know what Dallas thinks of her now.

Re: Jay Gruell – Lol, I totally understand. I was looking forward to this show all year. I plan to go tomorrow, but don't have anyone to go with. You going tomorrow?

I had tickets to her show tonight. Drove 6 hours Thursday to see the Queen in person.. Got a knock last night at my hotel room to tell me the show is canceled. My heart sunk, sick feeling came over me.. Bought the tickets 7 months ago after her amazing Superbowl performance.. Been excited ever since to score tickets.. Have seen her in the past.. Virgin Tour, Who's that Girl, Drowned World.. I was so excited.. Been a big fan since 1982.. Bought her first single Everybody at Musicland.. I was hooked.. Been a hugh fan ever since.. September 5 my best friend died of unknown causes.. This concert was to be part of my healing process.. Not mad at you Madonna.. You are amazing and hope you feel better soon..your fan Tim Mohler since 1982…

I had tickts was excited to see her again in person, but I could be pissed or I could do something about it.. I bought a Ticket to Houston on Oct. 25..Flying there to see her. Alledgedly she has had bed bug outbreaks in her living quarters. Maybe none of the Dallas hotels want to risk her bringing in an infestation.

    Re: Tim Mohler – Yo, Timbo. Gas : $200 Food : $200 Lodgings : $500
MadDonna cancelling at the last minute : priceless!

  25. 25

She didn't sell enough actual tickets. No one goes to a show to see Madonna SING lol and Laryngitis doesn't go away in one day. LIES! LOL Doesn't she lip synch most of her show anyway?

  26. 26

Re: Slc – That's what you get with people that are in the business but have no music.

  27. 27

Re: Tim Mohlere – You can't even spell lip synch Madonna sucks you don't know anything about music and that happens you never said you did. Just because you like someone doesn't mean they are good. Just because someone makes money doing something doesn't mean they are good. It's sad that the person that you think so much of isn't worth the paper her birth certificate is written on. You can do something about it though.

  28. 28

Re: Leanne sanders – The fact that you traveled all that way sickens me. I guess that's a lesson well learned. Safe trip back to Aussie land I've taken the flight it's grueling.

Re: Tessa1 – i was at the Denver show. Total dissappointment. She could have cared less about the fans. I waited 20 years and 3 extra hours to see her and hoped to relive some old memories of listening to her songs with my friends from my teenage years. The whole concert was stupid. She made a fool out of herself. She could have used her platform to make a positive difference but failed.

I'm just responding to all of you creeps. Never buy a ticket to her shows so the fans, the real fans can have more access. It's weird being in a concert with you haters that have no soul, no empathy, no tolerance for anything. If you don't get Madonna than get out, be gone, go watch TV and quit taking up seats.

I want to say how sorry that you lost your friend. I'm glad you have a positive attitude and turned the disapointment around and you're going to Houston. It must be so upsetting for those who came half way around the world. When you are a fan of M you are encouraged, and really know that the message is to seek a way, and never give up. We know that M is human and thats all that matters. Enjoy, I sure did in Vegas. Great show, great message, from dark to light! All the true fans left basking in the light!

To all of those, on here and elsewhere, who believe (or pretend to believe) that Madonna doesn't sing live, this in yet another confirmation that she does, for example her voice was rough in Porto. Those who follow the old bitch's bitter comments (Elton John lies through his teeth when he talks about her, all the time), should know how ridiculous they sound. And for those who still detract from her, Madonna has now the 3 best tour by an Artist ever, with the current in 3rd position and only half-way through. And one must admit that the MDNA tour is really stratospheric in terms of show, she's in a league of her own, the greatest artist in the world (as Guetta says) and lkely the most successful musician ever, actually has the widest vocal range currently on the interational pop market (3.2 octaves) and this is a fact.

If it's a fact, prove it. Saying it's so doesn't make it such.

Total bummer, my wife and stepdaughter have been planning for months. Weird she can suddenly sing Sunday. Oh well, at least I get the money I spent back.
