Rebecca Ferguson Responds To One Direction's Zayn Malik Calling Their Love A 'Wrong Idea'!

Zayn Malik Rebecca Ferguson Split Mistake

Uh oh!

Sounds like One Direction’s Zayn Malik has found himself in trouble with an ex of his!

Just last week, the 1D member spoke out about his relationship and breakup with fellow X Factor UK season seven finalist, Rebecca Ferguson!

Basically calling their short-lived romance a mistake, Zayn stated:

“It was a wrong idea from the start. It shouldn’t have happened. I think it was a wrong decision to make at such a young age. Then it did end badly, so we don’t talk any more.”

Ouch! What could’ve went wrong?!

The two dated for just three months last year and it sounds like Rebecca had been tiptoeing around Zayn cheating as the reason for their split!

Though, don’t think she’ll outright admit it… or even fire back!

Mz. Ferguson confessed:

“I was so shocked by what he said! I’m not going to retaliate. All I will say is that there have been a lot of things said and he knows so far that I’ve stayed classy and quiet and bitten my lip.”

Rebecca then went on to say that she wasn’t one to kiss split and tell and that she thinks Zayn was “probably put up to this” — hinting that maybe his management had him say it!

However, it seems whatever happened in the past between Rebecca and Zayn still doesn’t keep her from wishing him the best!

As for Malik and his current GF, Perrie Edwards, the songstress believes they’re “good together!”

Upwards and onwards, we suppose!

    You fail to mention Perez that the reason Zayn said it was a mistake is because Rebecca is 6 years older than him! And has 2 kids!
    He was just 18 when they dated and she was a mother. Obviously now that Zayn is a bit older he can see that it was a wrong idea. As in he was a young kid wanting some fun and she being older and with kids wanted commitment.

    But she's one to talk. In every freaking interview she gives she talks about Zayn while this is the first time Zayn has ever spoken since they split a year ago. He's with Perrie now who is the same age as him and he seems happy. Good on him. Rebecca should just get over her cougar love and move on. It's getting embarrassing how much she talks about this…

    I swear Perez only makes negative posts about Zayn out of the whole band. Why doesn't he make a post about Zayn's girlfriend Perrie who said she is very happy with him? Its always the negative stories. Zayn must have rejected his advances or something.

    Zayn should fucking breakup with Perrie and date a fan or someone in the US. Perrie is ugly as hell. she looks fake and like a cats ass. She can't sing at least I'm a soprano 1 in my choir the leader,the head model in my fashion club 5/7 and 100 pounds and I'm Greek and 17 years old.Shes not 100 pounds the only credit I give her is at least she gets to date Iv never been kissed she has. Plus I love zayn I wish he would go to my junior prom but he won't because he's famous I'm not. I get mad fun of he don't if he read this I would cry my fucking eyes out. I no that no ones going to ask me to prom ever but at least I designed my prom dress. But no one will ever ask me because I get called a fat so I won't ever get asked to prom. But if I did I would want zayn to ask me but he won't so I no I won't get asked to prom. Perrie is fucking lucky to be dating zayn

    Perez you are such a hypocrite. Rebekah used to talk about their relationship all the time. This is the first time zayn said something. Also he was 18 and she was 26 with two kids. Obviously that relationship was a mistake
    Zayn you are my favorite. You are the best.

    Re: Kara – I'm sure Perrie feels pretty lucky. But when I first found out about them, I had a pretty similar reaction. But then I looked at her music, and she's an amazing singer. And I saw videos of her, and she seems to be a great girl. This is the exact reason why Zayn will never date a hardcore fan. They scare him. They get all bitchy about someone who he clearly loves. If any of you crazy Directioners weren't so…crazy, you'd realize the best way to actually get them to be with you would to be…sane? Haha and supportive. I love the boys, but some of their fans are just insane.

    if he said this, that's so rude! you shouldn't say that a relationship was a mistake! wasn't it him that was chasing her the whole time? just because she gave in in the end doesn't mean she's a cougar or anything! she's beautiful, amazing..name it! if she didn't agree to date him, there would still have been some slag towards her! kmt!
