Robert Pattinson Confirms Twilight Spinoff In The Works!

| Filed under: Film FlickersTwilightRobert PattinsonKristen Stewart

twilight breaking dawn part 2 twilight spinoff

Be strong, Twi-Hards! This may be a lot to take in!

During a recent interview, Robert Pattinson revealed… (deep breath)… Breaking Dawn will NOT be the end of the Twilight Saga after all!

The rumors are true! There IS a spinoff movie (or TV show) in development!

TRY NOT TO FAINT!

You still with us? Okay, this is the crAAzy part: He is considering being a part of it!!

When asked about the rumored vampire spinoff, Kristen Stewart's on-again lover told reporters:

”I don’t say ‘definitely not’ to anything. Just in case.”

AH! That means there's DEFIANTLY something in the works!

We know Rob wouldn't do anything before knowing the script is good. So, we're guessing that if someone manages to write an AH-MAZING new chapter to Edward and Bella's love life he'd be on board.

Hurry, someone get Aaron Sorkin on the phone! Let's make it happen. HA!

In all honesty, Robbie will probs not be around to sparkle in the spinoff.

BUT, the good GREAT news is there WILL be a spinoff either way!

Who is defiant about what? Please tell me you do not refer to yourself as a journalist.

How can ”I don’t say ‘definitely not’ to anything. Just in case.” mean that there is something in the works? Doesn't that just mean that he would not, not say no to anything…

Honestly, I don't even get WHY they would do that.. Twilight has become "outdated", and it would be wise to just stop it at the upcoming movie. But I guess it's their choice.. However, I won't be watching the spinoff movie/serie.

On my recollection, S. Meyer are writing a book after BD2 call the Rising Sun, that is about the story of Edward Cullen.

On my recollection, S. Meyer wrote another book after BD2 call the Rising Sun. The story is about Edward Cullen.

Re: Britney1113 – You're right Britney. As the story goes, Stephenie Meyer was writing this prequel when it was leaked to the public by whom she does not know. Therefore, she decided to stop the writing, and she placed it on a website for a free limited time download. In case of a spinoff, it can to either way as a good thing or a bad thing.. Answerall of the opened ended questions for example: Who turned Emmett, Alice and why? What happened to the shapeshifters (the werewolves). Nessie and Jacob? Charlie, Billy, and Sue a new triangle versus a Swan and a Black for a woman (a Clearwater) instead of Cullen versus Black for a Swan. Now that it is known that a male vampire and a human female can create a child will other marriages occur to do so? Or, they can stop and retain the love of the books and movies by keeping the mystery of the imagination going onwards. Midnight Sun could answer these questions if Stephenie finished what she started. One last time.

I would love any spinoff of twilight. There are many very interesting characters and I for one would like to know more on the Voltari, how created, the vampire wars, the world of vampires and their many powers and of course if the Cullen family gets to rule the world of vampires and how they encounter the many families that are all over the world. Some thing I would also like is to see is a new Bella and new Edward just to see if some one else could do better, which I don't think so, but I would like to see how some one else makes us feel. Yes, the more I think about it the better it looks. Many tv programs (mission impossible for example) and movies have spin offs that are successful, don't see why this wouldn't be. Gotta get out of the rob and Kristen box to see if other actors would do better or worse. Challenging, but would love to see someone meet the challenge.

I find it hilarious that so many people are screaming out "No!" with this news. Now you know how I (and thousands of other) fans felt when the Hobbit movie was ruthlessly split into three unnecessary films. All for the Almighty Dollar.

The funniest part of it all is that the Twilight series is being artificially undermined, meaning, audiences are forced to believe that the films are somehow inferior, only because the fat old men who control Hollywood personally have this viewpoint. If the Twilight series had appealed to the small demographic of testosterone-flaunting know-it-alls, you can bet that it would be christened "The Next Star Wars! The next Harry Potter! It'll live on in film history! Wonderful! Fabulous!" Sexism is alive and well.

I admire Twilight fans for their persistance to like what they like, despite uncalled for criticism from the rest of the film community.

Re: Sylvia – Hi Sylvia I too would love to see a spinoff. But we must wait to see the final movie saga in order to see where it ends the characters and/or leaves the characters opened for a continued storyline. So Sylvia fingers crossed I know you and all others will be there glued to every scene shown :-)

Re: onelasttime – If you've read the books you would know it was Carlise that turned Emmett after Rosalie found him after he was attacked by a bear.

Re: ToriBorn – ToriBorn you do not have to respond in such a "tight" tone "If you've read the books….". I read all four since you asked so politely ToriBorn. However, for whatever reason I could not recall that part of the book. I knew Alice wasn't but lost Emmett's storyline. I will politely "thank you" for the updated information however.

Midnight Sun it the first Twilight book but told from Edwards POV instead. Its not a prequel but it is an excellent read!!!
Also Who changed Alice & Emmett & Why has already been explained in the books so its not really an open ended question.
Not sure I agree with spinoffs unless Stephanie Myer actually writes the books first and then it is made into a film/series. For example the book that she already wrote 'The Short second life of Bree Tanner' would be a great short series to watch :0)

I'm a huge fan but I think there is no point in doing this! Obviously its because of money and obviously I'll be watching but I just don't think it will be as good as before. I would prefer a movie more than a TV show I don't know how they will manage that :)
