Geez, this is warped!!
Ok, sounds potentially cute…
Except what was SO funny to the guest — an LA real estate agent called Justin Huchel — was going around interviewing a bunch of homeless people, street musicians, and others who frequent LA's sidewalks, pretending like they were invited friends of Justin and Jessica's who simply couldn't make it to the $1,000+ a night Borgo Egnazia resort in Puglia, Italy for the ceremony.
The video is titled: Greetings from Your Hollywood Friends Who Just Couldn't Make It
The people in the 8:30min long video, some of who are obviously mentally unsteady, send well wishes and messages of congratulations.
One featured individual expresses:
"Justin and Jessica, I haven't seen you for a long time . . . I hope the wedding goes fine for you. My gift is in the mail."
Yea ’cause it's super awesome to laugh at the expense of strangers — some who can barely form a coherent sentence — as some kind of twisted joke about fame, status, and the thousands of homeless who live in Hollywood, a place which prides itself for being the home to countless rich celebrities.
Mr. Huchel's attorney released a statement about the video, saying:
"Mr. Huchel made [the] video to be used and exhibited privately at Justin Timberlake's wedding as a private joke without Mr. Timberlake's knowledge."
What a gynourmous case of tactlessness and poor taste.
We only hope the video didn't make ALL the wedding guests feel super uncomfortable!
