Katy Perry Celebrates Her Birthday With Michelle Obama At Fundraiser

Katy Perry's birthday began with a shout-out from President Barack Obama at a campaign event in Las Vegas on Wednesday night, but then it got even better on Thursday when she got to celebrate turning 28 right next to his wife!

To top off her "Best. Birthday. Ever," the California gurl posed next to Michelle Obama for a pic she posted on Twitter with the tweet:

"NOW my bday is complete! Lunch with @MichelleObama #chicvote"

She got to hang with her idol at an afternoon campaign fundraiser at Will and Jada Pinkett Smith's home in El Lay.

Sure, she had to spend $2,500 to get in, but it looks like it was well worth it for her.

Who knows. Maybe John Mayer paid for it as a birthday gift!
