Prince Kicked Foster The People's Frontman The Eff Out Of His Concert!

| Filed under: Music MinuteCelebrity FeudsWacky, Tacky & TrueSIGHtingPrinceFoster The People

This is what it sounds like… when doves celebs cry!

Ha! JK!

Mark Foster of Foster the People didn't cry when he was kicked out of a Prince concert last night, but he was upset!

Cameras caught the British-born frontman arguing with a bouncer outside Hollywood's Sayers Club after security ejected him for talking on his portable telly during the intimate performance!!

Apparently The Artist Formerly Known As "The Artist Formerly Known as Prince" does not tolerate cellphones in his private concerts and we understand why!!

Watching the legendary musician shred the solo at the end of Purple Rain would be a life-changing event and we'd be severely miffed if some yahoo next to us were yucking it up on the phone!

Thankfully, the bouncers came to their senses after Mark repeatedly informed them that he was famous!

He was eventually allowed to re-enter the club and enjoy the rest of Prince's show!

People have no manners these days. When someone I am with pulls out their phone and starts playing with it - I just walk away. I don't blame Prince at all for giving him the boot.

  2. 2

That's one way for Mark Foster to get out of that EVIL SICK DISGUSTING SERIOUSLY MENTALLY ILL MAN'S contracts….

  3. 3

He was allowed to enter when he said he was sorry. He did NOT repeatedly say he was famous.

    Way to twist a story.

PRINCE is a PICKLE-SUCKER…..Mark Foster ain't having any of that….

Mark Foster is from LA, I smell bullshit….

Mark Foster is not british, sorry to burst your bubble. He's from Cleveland and lives in LA. Also, if your phone goes off cause you got a text during a concert you kinda have a habit to check it out. Im sure there wasn't a whole lot going on stage anyways. Neither did he beg, he explained what happened. You twisted this story. Not cool.

Re: Courtney – Post said he was TALKING on it mid concert, not texting. Would you talk on your phone in church?
That's the kind of musician Prince is. It's like going to church, so have respect. : )

That said, I also love Foster the People, and this is generation gap and not necessarily intended bad manners. Mark was schooled is all.

Re: @v@ – I agree, that was not respectful.
That said, I hate cell phones, and only have one for roadside emergencies or if my electric went out for any long period of time.
I really hate people who talk in the grocery store, what are they saying - well I am in the mayonnaise aisle now, headed next to toilet paper aisle - get a grip!

THANK YOU to those of you pointing out he is NOT British born. I read that and was like WTF he's from Ohio!

YUP, FUCKING MORON BARBARA (and DOUCHE PEREZ) GET IT RIGHT AGAIN! Yup, Prince actually kicked someone out of his concert. Singing, dancing, and bouncing. What a talent. FUCKING IDIOTS!

FYI, Mark Foster is not British, he was born in Ohio. Get your facts straight. This also makes me wonder how true the rest of the story is…

Prince was one of the worst concerts I ever saw. I was so disappointed. He wouldn't play his own music because he felt it was too dirty. But, he would mess with the audience. So, he would start a song, play a couple of chords and then stop and go on to something else. Almost everything he chose to actually play was obscure and not his best work. He refused to play almost any fan favorites. It was a huge disappointment and a waste of my time.
