Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger quickly defended his betrothed on Sunday, snapping back at Sum 41's Deryck Whibley after he totally dissed The Great White North's Punk-Pop Princess, Avril Lavigne!
As we already reported, Deryck wore the greatest couple's costume ever this past weekend! He dressed up as his ex-wife Avril while his new girlfriend went as Chad! LOLZ!!
Well, we laughed. Chad was not amused!

Sure sounds to me like Chad was amused. That was a pretty funny jab at Deryck, and I don't think it was mean spirited. Pretty obvious that both these Canadian guys have a good sense of humor.
