    damn, you idiots can't even COPY a story correctly. the electrical loss was 6 to 7 million people, not 20% of the united states, dumbass. now the estimate is approx 8 million.

    I live in New Jersey and almost everyone's towns have been completely destroyed. Everyone saying that NYC got it bad clearly has not looked into the widespread damage New Jersey has experienced. Lindsey Lohan needs to overdose already….

    Re: meggles – I just got an email from someone in NJ, they didn't lose power or have anything destroyed. You're exaggerating. And it's unfortunate Hilton wasn't still in NY when it hit, he would have had an excuse why nobody came to see his little play.

    I live in New Jersey (New Brunswick to be exact), and the person above is NOT exaggerating. The power in my building just turned back on, but it's relatively new. All of Rutgers University campus is shut down, all of Middlesex county is without power, and they're evacuating many of the dormitories. It's actually pretty serious. Hopefully everyone on the East Coast is staying dry and making it through!!

    Lindsay Lohan is a moron, which is a surprise to precisely no one. As my family on the East Coast is without power and treading water, LaLoca can take her opinion, fold it until pointy and shove it.

    i live in toms river on the jersey shore and we got so much damage, luckily i was able to go more inland 12 miles from the shore but we still received a massive smount of damages. when i went to go visit my house i had learned a tree went threw my front door and the street we take next to my house to get there was under 9 feet of water (apart of the bay pretty much now) and had boats floating down the middle of the road. my town is destroyed and we need any help we can get

    I used to ride that roller coaster when I was 9… My family always celebrated Easter by going down to Seaside Heights and getting funnel cake, pizza, and sausage sandwiches. Later my cousins and I would get to ride on the different shore rides. We always had so much fun (no matter how crappy the rides were)

    Its so sad that now the shore is trashed. Depending on how long it takes to get it set back up and safe I'm pretty sure we won't be having Easter at the shore this year

    This whole entire article not only PISSES ME OFF! I have 0 respect for the west coast now. Seriously I just got my power back on yesterday after 2 weeks of no electrical appliances such as HEAT which was the most important. We cried, lost sleep, had to keep a fire going for 24 hours and pray my kids dont freeze in their sleep. Also the national guard is a block away from me and I hear gunshots going off. There are looters so anyone who says anything different is LYING! ORRRRRRRRR doesn't know anything!

    Lindsey — I invite you over to my house, as we have not changed much of the house since power went back since we expect another blizzard next week. Get on your private jet and come see what is going on here and listen at night as the gun fire goes off. I live at the Jersey Shore… I watched my hometown become destroyed. I lost my brand new car and that is just what I call a blessing because I didnt lose my house. My good friend lost his house and I am trying to help him as well. SO SHOVE IT! Come here… look around!
