Bruce Springsteen And Christina Aguilera Headlining Hurricane Sandy Benefit Concert

NBCUniversal is throwing a hurricane party!

In an effort to raise funds for the victims of Hurricane Sandy, the network is airing a concert telethon that will air simultaneously on NBC, Bravo, E!, CNBC, USA, SYFY, Style, G4, and more for one hour!

One hour? Isn't that more of a telesprint?

Hey, it's not the quantity of the show, it's the quality. And if they wanted quality performances, they couldn't have chosen much better than Bruce Springsteen and Christina Aguilera!

In addition to the Boss and Xtina, the benefit will also feature performances by Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, and Sting!

Wow! With all that talent at one venue, you won't even have to turn on your TV! You'll hear it live!

All proceeds of the fundraiser will go to the American Red Cross!

They are so transparent. Funny every time there is a little storm some where with a lot of Exposure the Celebs flock to be seen helping. When the Midwest was devastated by a huge flood in 08 you didn't hear a peep out of them. Ashton Kutcher did come but kept it quiet.

Re: Fergie_beat_Marios_Ass – Springsteen and Bon Jovi are from New Jersey and Christina is from Staten Island. Good for them for helping out. It is too bad that the midwest flood did not generate as much interest, but you can't blame artists for caring more about their home towns.

Fat ass Christina needs to stay away from the food table at this benifit or she'll eat all the profit.

What if she breaks the stage ?

I'm glad those artists have the heart to work for the big cause !

this is going to be an obama rally. NBC involved, springsteen, bon jovi both campaign for obama and the rest of them are all supporters. You don't need a bunch of 1% to text 10$ to your phone, just do it.

hey shaygirl, in one of you last comments you said, "Obama is an ass. ask Rick Perry, if your state is conservative Obama doesn't give a damn. Texas was on fire and TEXAS was denied Fema help, in fact he just ignored them."
well if you would have actually checked the Fema website you would have seen that was just another in a long list of republican lies you like to spew. but then again you don't really care about facts do you? maybe you should work for Fox News.

    FEMA Support to Texas Wildfires

Yesterday, our Region VI Administrator, Tony Russell blogged about the support we are providing the state of Texas, as they work to combat devastating wildfires. At the time of yesterday’s blog post, we had authorized Fire Management Assistance Grants (FMAGs) for seven fires, meaning FEMA funding will be available to pay 75 percent of state and local government eligible firefighting costs.

Since then, we have authorized an additional FMAG for the Bear Creek Fire, bringing the total to 8 for this series of fires and 53 for this year.

All the best to the folks in New York and NJ. I wish I could find a small scale charity tocks donate to rather than the Red Cross, although good, sucks up a lot in admin costs.

Oh lord! And we hace haters bashing and trashing Xtina, talking about her weight once again, criticizing her looks BUT they're sitting doing nothing to help people who are going through a very hard time. Classy, just classy. Grow up people this is NOT about Xtina, it's about helping and caring about others. If you know what that means.

OMG! If XXL-tina jumps on the bandwagon, it will probably collapse. OINK!!!
