    1) It was a totally inappropriate costume. Chris Brown can be stupid and has stupid people around him.
    2) Your wording to descrbe him is totally inappropriate. "Long and extensive history with violence" - ? He had one serious assault incident and he threw a chair (whatever) at a window after an interview on national TV. Not good, but NOT a long and extensive history. He's matured, give him a break - except for the costume.

This is not okay on any level and only succeeds in furthering negative stereotypes. Please, do the world a favor and try to form some kind of social consciousness and good judgement instead of infesting our society with more ignorance. And I'm not saying that to be mean, it's an honest request.

    This guy loves to seek attention. He tries so badly to be a superstar, and he is, the thing is 10 years from now he's still going to be remembered for being immature. He just needs to concentrate on his music. He needs to take a page out of artists like Usher, who started out his career as a teenager and now 15 years later he is a mega star. And despite Ushers recent problems, he's already planted his legacy, something that Chris Brown hasn't been able to.

    I don't celebrate Halloween. But it is the night of the dead, evil and horror. If you approve of the devil costume, then this shouldn't be a big deal. And although fictional, this isn't the only costume that portrays vicious murderers.

    I've actually gone back and forth on whether I think this outfit is appropriate or not. Its really hard to tell what my feelings on the costume its self is because I dislike him personally so much. Also, I hate it when people are over sensitive to things, but there a couple of costumes I find extremely inappropriate for halloween, like Hitler, and I feel like this sort of falls under the same thing. I'm gonna have to go with inappropriate for this one. You'd think that he'd be trying to stay away from controversy, not chasing it.

    I won't say he should have known better or that his mother needs to see beyond "fun." After seeing this I have decided that I will no longer listen to or support Chris brown.
