Fox News' Karl Rove Has On-Air Meltdown After Obama Wins! Watch It HERE!

| Filed under: Icky Icky PooWacky, Tacky & TruePolitikBarack Obama

You know that friend you had when you were little with whom you hated playing board games because whenever you won, they'd cry and stomp their feet and try to tell you that you somehow cheated?

Well, that sore loser kid constantly having temper tantrums apparently grew up to be Karl Rove!

As anyone watching the election coverage on Fox News when they called Ohio for Barack Obama knows, the Republican contributor pretty much made a fool of himself by not only outright denying that it was true, but sending anchor Megyn Kelly to interrogate the WORKING election analysts on their accuracy!

Ch-ch-check it all out (above)!

And frankly, just sad to see that while so many are coming to embrace progress and change, there are still folks considered POLITICAL EXPERTS in positions like this who are so desperate to cling to their outdated ideologies and belief systems that they are capable of outright rejection of reality!

Here's hoping he can WAKE UP, cuz, whether he likes it or not, we think it was PROVEN good and fair last night that these times they are a-changin'!

I did not see a temper tantrum. He was stubborn in refusing to accept the projection, but he did not loose his temper.

  2. 2

Karl Rove's American Crossroads poured millions into the Presidential, Senate & House races trying to buy elections. Fortunately, the plutocrats LOST!
Congrats to Obama and also to Sherrod Brown, Ohio who won despite the powerful monies campaign against him because he wants to break up the big banks and make them too big to fail. Congrats to Eliz. Warren who got the Ma. senate seat and hopefully she will get on a banking committee and reform banking. We need reform!

He didn't lose it, what r u talking about?

  4. milindoe says – reply to this

Methinks you're no better than Rove for overstating facts. Rove didn't melt down or anything else. He simply argued the call, like any FauxNews employee would.

  5. Julie A says – reply to this

I don't see a meltdown. You are trying to create scandal where there is none.

  6. B says – reply to this

Are you at all familiar with Chris Matthews?

Perez, i love reading your celebrity gossip, but you should know that your biased political comments really isolate some of your readers. Maybe in the future you can take that into consideration. If you even read the comments.

    bad day for Karl Rove

    Re: B – I agree… it's getting ridiculous

  9. 9

Two words… Chris Matthews!!!! Stick to celebrity gossip… this isn't a political site. On second thought, I'm done reading your site, post whatever you like. The majority of the people in this country are just plain stupid for re-electing BHO! They will be the first to cry fowl when his real plans start to take shape.

  10. 10

Rove debated his point in a respectable manner. There was not even the slightest inclination of a temper tantrum contained within the video. His assessment was by all means accurate. He never claimed Romney was the winner. Rather, he asked that the claim be substantiated.

Someone was drunker than Diane Sawyer when they posted this video claiming Rove through a tantrum.

There is no meltdown, but typical perez hilton fashion being a god damn drama queen and trying to get some kind of attention for himself, do us all a favor and just go away

  12. 12

    I wouldn't call that a meltdown.

  13. 13

One of these days, other people in the minority besides myself will figure out what Liberals do. They divide us all, like Obama did, and put us in boxes. Then, they give the least fortunate in our minority groups handouts, and then, the mass becomes dependent on it. Then, when they take it away, there are riots. It brings us all down as a group when everyone doesn't fight harder for their own well being. They sit back and let the government provide healthcare, schooling and every other need. Then, we all become more easily controlled, like Greece. Congrats people who voted for Obama! We are there!

  14. Bubble says – reply to this

That's your definition of meltdown? Just because I don't like someone or because they are in denial, it's not an excuse to accuse them of melting down when they are acting quite calmly.

  15. 15

Nope. Won't watch something here with an ad in front of it.

  16. Intelligentblacksexist says – reply to this

Whether it was right at that moment or 2 hours later the prez had Ohio. Karl Rove (and some of you here it seems) was(are) butt hurt that some experts with binoculars actually CAN see further than you with your naked eyes. It's big news that when we have our elections here in America. Sad that fluff can choke out important news but try to insert some important news into fluff and watch the sparks fly. Like they said in 08' get over it!

  17. cmartin329 says – reply to this

I didn't see a meltdown, but he and the rest of the Fox crew were sweating bullets.

  18. 18

Karl Rove might have be kept out of the nursing home too long, or maybe his diapers needed to be changed….either way…it's way past his bedtime…

  19. LoriC says – reply to this

    Meltdown?!? Are you high?

  20. @v@ says – reply to this

Rove and the boys backed the wrong horse. Ron Paul allegedly consistently polled better against Obama. I guess the needed votes went to Johnson after what they pulled at the convention.

  21. Angela says – reply to this

Seriously Perez you are an idiot. He didn't loose his temper, he didn't go crazy, he didn't do anything but hold onto hope with 1/4 of the counties yet to report that they might swing that state. Had the shoe been on the other foot I'm quite certain Democrates would want to hold out hope as well. That was a very tight tight race in Ohio. I think you to grow up.

Re: cmartin329Re: nick – What adult says "butt hurt". Really?

Re: @v@ – The ELITE and the GOP threatened the future of Rand Paul, and Ron wants a future career for his son. One of the ways they got him to make a deal and back off. Rand went silent as well just before Ron stepped down.

  24. 24

didn't see much of a meltdown, just the usual inability to face the facts if they don't happen to line up with his agenda.
what's really telling is that Faux News would have Rove as one of their election night correspondents. American Crossroads, a super PAC, and Crossroads GPS, two groups, founded by republican political operative Karl Rove set a goal to raise and spend $300 million on the 2012 election. for any news corporation to hire someone with so much bias to be one of their pundits is nothing short of a joke. fair and balanced my ass.

  25. lalaland says – reply to this

wait, what meltdown? I played this 3 times waiting to see him throw something and start panicking.

Perez, did you post the wrong video? I've also googled Karl meltdown and nothing came up. I sure hope this wasn't some bizarre way of causing unwarranted lies and drama

  26. Lauren B says – reply to this

Perez, one of the only things I agree with our president on is his desire for tolerance & respect. I would assume that you agree to tolerate & respect your readers even if they have opinions that differ from yours. Including politically. I don't feel as though you respect your more conservative fans. I don't agree with EVERYTHING Romney stood for, but your blatant disrespect for Republicans is disheartening. I realize you probably won't even see this, but I love you & this site.. I am however a little sick of your intolerance for those with different political views.

  27. 27

How exactly was this considered a meltdown? I don't see it.

  28. Jay says – reply to this

PEOPLE! quit blazing Perez for the pathetic potato head Karl Rove. This is not the only site calling it a "meltdown" so chill out! If Romney won and someone on MSNBC did the same thing the web would've crashed by now. I watched this live on election night and thought it was pathetic to say the least.

  29. Hmmmm...... says – reply to this

    That was a meltdown?

  30. bTeri says – reply to this

Perez Hilton has the political acumen of a five year old the way he only includes incredilbly biased positives coverage for Obama and juvenile, negative coverage on the right. Good thing you skew young in your followers because your approach alienates and insults half the country. Shame on you.

  31. @v@ says – reply to this

Re: caravaggio_inquisitive – I don't know. Would a man who has gotten where he is by consistently doing the right thing and telling the truth put one son's future ahead of 300 million souls? From the post Rand thing uber negative buzz from the core followers, his future looked much bleaker, imo. Something happened; just not sure exactly what.

  32. G00nwaffle says – reply to this

Matthews and Sawyer may have their problems- but they aren't traitors- He may not have had an exact meltdown yet Rove should be in prison- but he gets to run his impetuous gumz on Fox Propaganda- whatta scumbag - crybaby couldn't buy democracy this time- he's on a channel that thinks they are the moral/Christian/biblical purveyors- BS- Roves the bearer of false witness who lied to get Don Seigelman [Alalbama Governor] put in jail - free Don Seigelman- imprison Rove for life

  33. completely disagree says – reply to this

There was no tantrum. He makes a valid point. If you watched even the smallest amount of television election coverage last night, then you also saw television stations calling states for certain candidates with staggeringly small amounts of counties reporting.

Regardless of your political opinions, I find the name calling completely unbecoming and indicative of a person's maturity level.

Re: @v@ – Yes I was very sorry Dr. Paul did not the nomination.

  35. teeter totter says – reply to this

I did not watch any TV coverage but logged into CNN once about 4pm PST and thought it was disgusting that they were posting results 4 hours before the polls closed here in California.

  36. caravaggio_inquisitive says – reply to this

Re: @v@ – A father and his son have a bond. Maybe not. Rand suddenly went silent to all reporters though once he met with Romney.

  37. 37

EVERYBODY calm down. Perez seems to not have checked the video he posted on his site. THERE WAS A TAMTRUM, but this video in case you guys cant tell has been cutdown in content which is stupid if you are trying to show Karl Rove have a bitch fit. If you actually saw fox news last night you saw it happen if not go look for it on youtube. All the videos that are around 2:45 min are cut down look for the larger ones. there is a reason Megyn Kelly keeps saying "that was awkward at the end". If you see the actually video you can see him shuffling through papers and repeat the samething to himself over and over again cuz he is in disbelief

  38. 38

I was watching live at the time. Rove did not have a meltdown. He was in a snit and tried to hold on to his last hope for a Romney win. He backed the wrong horse and all the money he spent from his PAC disappeared like butter on hot toast. That being said, Karl Rove and Foxnoise suck as badly as Chris Matthews and MSDNC. Both are embarrassments to the "news" profession.

  39. Morgain McGovern says – reply to this

Hey Karl Rove and all you super rich evil bastards! Thanks for all of your cash to advertise your lies. All of the $300 Million you (personally) raised & spent is now in the hands of the liberal entertainment industry. Hahahahaha!!! Thanks sucker!!

  40. OhPlease says – reply to this

Re: flashybutters – He didn't tantrum but what Red state was called after 100% of the votes were tallied? Ithink his issue was that Ohio made it practically impossible for HIS candidate to win. There was no tantrum but he definitely responded differently once the entire "game" was on the line. Would he have had the same response is Ohio had gone against Obama? I think notI will also point out that "Liberals" don't put us in boxes and divide us. Those who refuse to compromise, use sweeping terms or percentages to define who they cannot or will not fight for are the ones who are divisive. The president has to be for all - not just for a few.

  41. OhPlease says – reply to this

Re: completely disagree – I won't call any names but if you watched the coverage you also know why they were able to make the calls so early. It was about the demographics and established voting patterns of the counties of the states they were calling. You'll also have to agree that the calls were accurate.

Talk about buying an election, Obama bought it for a birth control pill. Sad thing is they were already free. Who's the dumb ass now.
