Katy Perry Is 'Proud' To Place Her Vote For Barack Obama In Red White And Blue!

Katy Perry couldn't have been more proud to vote Barack Obama into office for four more years.

The 28-year-old singer took to Twitter on Tuesday to share her excitement and tweeted:

"Proud to exercise my civic duty!"

She also shared a pic of herself after dropping a ballot in the box at her polling location (above). She dazzled with a blue pantsuit, a white blouse and black tie, then complimented her look with a pair of cool shades.

Gurl looked good and made a good decision! Lovin' that patriotism!

I never would buy your songs and now I really never will. Keep your mouth shut and sing. To be fair, I don't need to hear any actress, singer or whatever entertainer's view on politics, just as they don't need to hear mine. Get some talent and learn to sing live. Your body will only get you so far.

People have been slamming celebs that have tweeted encouraging people to vote, saying we don't need to hear their opinions. But most the celebs just said to go vote, they didn't tell you who to vote for.
