In honor of the very exciting news that President Barack Obama has won the 2012 election and has been voted back into office for another four years, Mariah Carey, who has made no secret of her support for our Commander-in-Chief, has just released the studio version of Bring It Home, a song she wrote specifically for him and previously performed live at a fundraiser held in his honor over the summer!

Oh MAN! You KNOW it's a special occasion when she unleashes her iconic whistle note!

And given the circumstances in which this is being released, we'd say it's MORE than appropriate!

Ah-MAZING! This day COULD NOT get any better!

We couldn't be more proud of the people in this country who stood up for what is RIGHT!

There's still a long, difficult road ahead of us, but we're continuing on in the right direction!

Thanks for the new anthem to keep us motivated and MOVING FORWARD, gurl!

    I ♥ this song. If the mainstream (gen. y?) want to drug-out over the holidays over "new techno beats" go ahead, I'll be chilling to this next to the fire place.

    Wonder if a new world anthem will be made this year on Idol though. No other song has had half as much success as HERO has on these kinds of shows…it's about time I get it as a fresh, new worldwide collabo ;D
