Justice has been served!
Rep. Gabrielle Giffords's shooter, Jared Loughner, has been sentenced to a heavy six-life sentence for last year's shooting.
PLUS 140 YEARS ON TOP OF THAT!
Giffords and her husband were there to witness the sentencing, with hubby Mark Kelly stating:
"You may have put a bullet through her head, but you have not put a dent in her spirit, and her ability to do good."
After being treated for schizophrenia, 24-yr-old Jared admitted guilt after killing six and injuring thirteen on January 8, 2011.
His sentencing is the justice for 19 counts, including attempted assassination.
We're EXTREMELY happy to see justice served. We can only hope this tragedy lives on only as an excellent example of what NOT to do.
