PSY Brings Gangnam Style To The 2012 MTV EMAs….AND David Hasselhoff!

Seriously, did anyone really think that he was not going to be completely DOMINATE the competition?!

It may have been PSY's first time at the MTV Europe Music Awards, but that didn't stop host Heidi Klum from referring to him as the "undisputed King of Pop" as she welcomed him onto the stage to perform his smash single, Gangnam Style…nor did it keep him from beating out the likes of Katy Perry, Rihanna, and M.I.A. for the Best Video Award!

    He won because of the lack of major competition. Plus, he is much better than Rihanna and Perry, but not better than Hasselhoff.

    I really tried to get into the EMA's but it was even worse than the VMA's!! Don't get me wrong, this is a fun song and a fun dance, but it's getting ridiculous. And to win best video over Katy Perry's which is MUCH more artistic and gives you more of a story?! BS!!! Damn kids making these votes.

    It's blatant disrespect to MJ. This song would have been better with no lyrics but Americans are too stupid to give a shit what he's saying. How can you say he's the king of pop? He didn't produce that song and I know you're not going to say you were moved by the lyrics. He's a clown with a funny dance at best.

    When were those shows ever representative of good music?

    the most popular wins, the newest, most hyped wins. plus, europe's taste in music is just awful. for example nicki minaj wins agains kanye west, who is like hip hop's biggest treasure.

    but i gotta say, psy is a cool guy. i'd rather see him, a chubby, normal, nice BUT talented person with a good taste of what sounds good win this award than any new 18 year old skinny or muscle-packed teenie boy or girl with no talent, who get pushed by their managers and dont have to do anything

    Re: Taylor – Meh. Just an fyi, Psy did produce this song and the whole album, as well as 5 other albums. It's fine to dislike the song, but you gotta admit it must be some talent to produce a song that so many people across the globe like. Hmm. Last time I checked, that IS the definition of pop.
