Sherman Hemsley Finally Allowed Burial, Nearly Four Months After Death
All too often, death is only the beginning of a sad story!
Sherman Hemsley will finally be buried, three and a half months after succumbing to lung cancer.
Since his July 24 death, the Texas courts have been deciding whether or not to award custody of his remains to the actors half-brother or his long time business associate.
Finally, the judge ruled in favor of Sherman's half-brother who apparently has funeral plans for The Jefferson's star.
We always hate to see bereaving friends and family squabbling over the remains, possessions, or estate of a loved one.
Thankfully this story now has a resolution and Sherman can finally rest in peace.

Thank God this fine man can rest in peace. He was so funny, a really underated actor. Someone in Hollywood should do something too. Give this man the due he deserves as a star!
