Janeane Garofalo Was A Married Woman For 20 Years…And She Didn't Even Know It!

This is the craziest thing we've heard in QUITE some time!
Like, we're-pretty-sure-this-only-happens-in-movies kind of crazy!
Janeane Garofalo recently revealed that for the past 20 years, she's been a married woman…and she didn't even realize it!
According to the actress, she and her ex-boyfriend, Big Bang Theory producer Rob Cohen, had a WILD night in Las Vegas which resulted in a trip to a drive-through chapel in a cab!
And even though they never actually considered it legit, it turns out the union is recognized in the eyes of the law…as Cohen needed it to be dissolved before he could ACTUALLY marry his new lady Jill Leiderman!
She explains:
"Rob and I got married, for real, which we had to have a notary dissolve not 30 minutes before we got here tonight. We were married for 20 years until this evening. [We] got married drunk in Vegas…We dated for a year, and we got married at a drive-through chapel in a cab. [We thought] you have to go down to the courthouse and sign papers and stuff, so who knew? We were married, and apparently now that [Rob] is getting married for real, his lawyer dug up something."
Oh MAN!
Can U imagine having to have THAT conversation with your fiance?!
"Um, sorry, honey! We can't get married because for the past 20 years, Janeane Garofalo has been my wife!"
LOLz! Seriously, this is INCREDIBLE!
Talk about learning something new every day!
All in all, though, we're glad that everything was worked out in the end!
And hopefully, this can serve as a good warning tale to future intoxicated visitors of Sin City who think it may be funny to explore their wedding options while visiting!
