Aww, we always love seeing a mother and daughter in peace. Let's just hope it lasts for a while this time…
But as you know, Lindsay Lohan accused Dina of using cocaine during their infamous limo fight — the one that left Linds in cuts and bruises.
LiLo later confessed she lied, saying Dina was totally sober through all of their fighting (which, honestly, makes it even scarier to us).
But if nothing else, it earned her some mommy points, as Dina is now saying:
"[She] absolutely lied. We were having an argument, it escalated. She just wanted to hurt me at that moment. You know, mothers [and] daughters, we fight. I hate cocaine. I don't do cocaine. I'm so proud of her for telling the truth because it destroyed me. I mean, I cried for weeks. It just hurt me so bad and she knew how horrible that was, and she came clean and told the truth that she lied. I'm very proud of her for that, which is very difficult to have to do. There's so much more to the story than the public sees, and it takes its toll on my children and myself, and we're just trying to move forward."
Look, we don't want anyone crying but what about Lindsay's tears? Dina seriously needs to understand that she's the mother in this situation, not a friend.
It's never going to be a level playground because Lindsay grew up with Dina as the mother figure, so these fights are always gonna end up doing more damage to her. And Dina should take a step back and let that sink in.
We're no psychologist, but this is just common sense!
And yes, every mother-daughter team does see their fair share of spats. But these two have gone above and beyond the norm, and they seriously need to put a stop to it before something crazier happens.
