The singer, who is pregnant with twins, WILL headline the festival in 2018 -- so at least the BeyHive has that!
In a statement to The Associated Press on Thursday, Bey's Parkwood Entertainment and festival producer Goldenvoice said:
Could that fateful day be upon us?! Has the life-giving sun finally risen and have we made it to the promise land?!
IS JUSTIN TIMBERLAKE MAKING NEW MUSIC?!?!
Whether or not he's about to head into the studio to work on his first album since 2006's Futuresex/Lovesounds!!
"You're the ones who stopped talking about me as a musician. You guys act like I said I've retired. I can tell you this: When I'm ready to say something, you always know that I'll say it in the biggest way possible. [My music] really comes from the heart. Making movies and making music, they have a lot of similarities, but I can tell you that, and while they both come from honest places, music for me is the thing that comes most naturally to me, and for me, I just don't take it for granted… [My music] comes from a pure place. If anything, I'm honoring it in the best way that I know how, but when it's time, I'll be ready. I'm not less inspired, I didn't give up, but until I have something to say, I was taught to keep my mouth shut. That's how my mother raised me."
What the flying dinosaur does that mean?!
Ok, no, we get it, Justin doesn't want to feel forced to create new tunes, he wants it to be a genuine, natural process.
BUT COME ON!!! It's been too long dude! We are starving for your satisfying beats and those scintillating vocals!!
We get that Justin's busy being married and investing in former failing social media sites, but perhaps he'd feel more inspired to construct sounds if his headspace wasn't so preoccupied?!
We guess we'll just have to remain ever patient and pray to the lords of sexy melodies that JT soon returns to his musical motherland.
