This franchise is becoming about as consistent as the holiday around which its latest additions are always released!

As we reported, fresh on the heels of the success of Paranormal Activity 4, Paramount Pictures announced that it would not only be releasing a fifth installment, but also a Latino-centric spin-off in honor of the series' success in Latin America!

But while that version is expected to hit theaters sometime in the spring of 2013, there's no cause for alarm!

Because according to a new announcement, Paranormal Activity 5 will, like its predecessors, be released just in time for Halloween on October 15th, 2013!

Phew!

We've gotten used to a new addition of the found-footage ghost story every year to get us in the mood for Halloween fun, and would be SO disappointed if this upcoming October were any exception!

What do U think?? Are U looking forward to a Paranormal Activity 5 or has the series worn out its welcome?

    These films are terrible.

    They aren't scary.

    They are laughable.

#4 was the worst of the bunch.

If you're going to make a #5, please connect with fans and better writers to make this "sequal" count.

flogging a dead horse. They must be very cheap to make so I guess that explains why so many being chruned out. No stars to pay or big special effects. Big profits. Just proves people will watch the same crap over and over. If I really like a film I usually avoid the sequels as I dont want it to stain my love of the original.
