After Katy Perry's divorce from Russell Brand, the peppermint princess promised fans a darker album to follow her sugar-coated Teenage Dream.
And now rumor has it that she and her songwriting team plan on finishing their work just in time for a Summer 2013 release!!!
Said to be working with Greg Wells and Bonnie McKee again, Katy's new sound will no doubt reach far beyond what we've seen from the past while still maintaining her signature single-making status.

Katy is a puppet to the industry. Her lable creates her image and theme. Her writers create generic songs. Someone sings over the track and then katy comes in and puts her vocals on it and releases it. She is totally disconnected from "her" work and like i said she is just a puppet, but i guess thats what people are buying these days.
Katy Perry is amazing. She is much more talented than anyone knows. She is one of the only singers who can actually write their own stuff, and have it be a number one single. This new album is going to be freaking amazing. 'Nuff said.

So if anyone created 'generic songs', she did and can therefore take credit for her success. Not her 'writers' or 'label'. Also, Part Of Me has been knocking around for years so fails to fit your statement reinforcing how she's a 'puppet'. Slate her all you like with valid reasons, but in return you should give credit where it's due.
