I thought this episode of Glee was the worst one I have ever seen. Not sure why the writing has gone so south, but the show has no good story lines now. I think Marley is very talented, but it just all seems so fake and stupid now. Gone are the good days of Quinn being pregnant, Will and Emma struggling for a relationship, the wonderful Britney and Santana, etc. What a bummer. Seems extremely cheesy and made up. Not watching it anymore.

I enjoyed this episode more than I expected, even though there was no NYC Kurt/Rachel on the scene. It was FUN, while still having some dra-medy (Ryder's dyslexia, which was handled very nicely and gave good info at the same time). The music was GREAT on this one. This was a step back in time (though the newbies aren't as interesting to me as our originals), in a good way.

I still think it would be best to have a NYC spin-off, with Quinn (up from New Haven on her rail pass), and hopefully Mike, Mercedes & Santana.

Then we can spare more development time to the McKinley group, where I'm liking Artie's directorial forays and Finn's journey into Glee mentoring (shaky, but he's trying). I'd like more Tina time, but it looks as though we'll get some. The newbies are still way vanilla, but some chemistry is showing up.

Flo Rida's Whistle is an extremely raunchy song that is all about objectifying women. I am disappointed Glee didn't have the class to skip it.
