Two and a Half Men Star Angus T. Jones Bashes Show! Calls It "Filth"!

| Filed under: TV NewsWacky, Tacky & True

What the what what whaaat!

Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones recently appeared in a video for Christian website Forerunner Chronicles…

And after talking at length on how much he loves God, the almost fully grown man begins denouncing the CBS show that he's on, imploring those who watch the show to STOP viewing at once!

Cue to 7:30 to watch the bizarre commentary (above)!

Angus goes on to say he doesn't want to even be on the show, calls it "filth" and refers to it in regards to the "the enemy" — we can only assume he's talking about Satan.

Oooo man!

Careful not to sh*t where you eat, Angus T.! Oh, and Angus makes a reported $350,000 per episode… we wonder if he's gonna start giving that away to those less fortunate in the name of the Lord, or perhaps it's God's will that he keep it?

A very convenient philosophy indeed!

Did not see that coming! He has officially lost it…

  2. 2

Seems that religion is his drug of choice. At least with religion his body is spared even though his mind gets twisted.

"we wonder if he's gonna start giving that away to those less fortunate in the name of the Lord"

How do you know he doesn't already?

  4. 4

One of the many reasons I hate religion. What an ass.

  5. p says – reply to this

What a hypocrite, maybe he can call up Kirk Cameron and they can be BFF's.

If he really wanted to get out of the show he could, but my bet is he won't try because of the money.

  6. shanghai says – reply to this

Seems an ungrateful little *** - I always thought how lucky is the kid on that show because he gets paid so much for regular acting work when so many talented actors are struggling. At least if he feels that way give his pots of money away to less fortunate people and do some good.

  7. 7

He's at that age for mental illness so maybe there's more to this than meets the eye. First step…step away from the bible!!!!

  8. 8

Considering he works for Chuck Lorre and worked with Charlie Sheen…is anyone really surprised?

  9. 9

In other words….some GREEDY EVANGELICAL PEDO-PASTOR wants his MONEY!

  10. 10

It's really sad how religion can distort someone's view of the world. At the end of the day you can still be spiritual, but it's important to live your life for YOU (aka not according to strict doctrines). My main point: Everything on the show is a JOKE Angus… you don't have to partake in any of the activities that are joked about because you're playing a CHARACTER. Do what you do on your own time, but while you're making bank, just shut up if you want to ever work in Hollywood again. Anyway, I'm shocked that Scientology didn't get to him first.

  11. W. Paul Carter says – reply to this

This kinda makes me sad because 2 1/2 Men sucks and now I'm gonna to have to start watching just to torture that ass hat.

  12. 12

Many actors would love to be on that show. What an ungrateful shit bag. Go work somewhere else douche bag. Somewhere where you get minimim wage. Twat!!

  13. 13

Re: Pray the Gay Away… – So true. They must have seen him as an easy mark.

  14. 14

And he stays on the show WHY then?????? The $$S????? So quit ths show Angus and go spread the word!

  15. 15

It's hard to watch. He seems brainwashed and damaged by the effects of growing up on that show. He was probably exposed to alot of crazy sheen behavior and may even be coveting his own habit. The producers likely already know his state of mind hence shipping him off to the army…

  16. 16

I suggest they write him off the show and bring in a baby or young boy that maybe ashton did not know he had??? What a great idea!! I should be a writer!!

  17. Dick Gozinya says – reply to this

A less articulate young man would be hard to find; and he calls himself an actor! He is a lost soul, and at least he hasn't turned to drugs I guess, although he appears totally stoned. This is sad to watch. All the advantages, and so lost, it seems.

  18. Liz says – reply to this

these poor child stars just go crazy at a certain point!! WHAT a nightmare.

  19. Gigi says – reply to this

I don't usually agree with Perez, but I do in this case. Since this moron made all his money from this "filthy" show, he should give all that dirty, filthy money away to the homeless and people who have nothing. But, like all hypocrites, he wont.

  20. Antiincumbent says – reply to this

It obvious that he's throwing a temper tantrum because, 1.) He was moved back to the 1/2 role. 2.) He's in the Army playing the role of a talking head. 3.) He sees the writing on the wall. The show is not called"3 men." 4.) Ashton is the much bigger name and persona than Angus. The women want more Ashton than Angus. Jake will be killed off and a new 1/2 man has to be brought in. Buh bye Angus. Too bad you're not mature enough to learn from Charlie Sheens implosion.

  21. 21

I don't watch the show but the one that was on while the remote was out of my reach he was only on for 5 seconds tops.. does he still get paid for working 5 minutes 350k??

  22. Sasha says – reply to this

Wow. Just wow. Seems like he went to the other side of extreme. As a kid actor and working with Charlie Sheen everyone probably told him that he would end up on drugs, jail etc but he wanted to prove a point and turn to God and now he is 100% brainwashed. Don't worry we will get a tell-all book in about 10-20 years. So sad.

  23. 23

Sheen wasn't the only bad guy on the show.. all people on that show were/are sleezy acting. When you grow up around that kind of people (lorre included) you see from a child's eyes how disgusting and how horrible that lifestyle is and you make a decision to be nothing like them. That's probably how he also saw things as I did as a kid. I never drank, did drugs, whored around.. I was MUCH more religious thananyone that attended church. I actually stopped going to church because of the hypocrisy of the people.

  24. 24

BTW seventh day adventists are practically their own religion.. they are very strict. They use to be the only place you could even buy vegetarian meals back in the day. I use to shop there back in the olden days lol. They have very strict eating regimes etc.

  25. Monica says – reply to this

Perez, why do you turn comments off on Jay Z and stupid Beyonce all the time comments should be on all the time.

  26. JM says – reply to this

That really was quite painful to watch. Angus was inarticulate and seemed to be unstable. I think there is much more to this than what meets the eye. If there wasn't some type of substance involved, he seemed to be bordering on some form of mental health issues. I feel sorry for him and wish him the best.

  27. 27

I think if he was doing porn or drugs the feedback would be less negative. Religion is a dirty word in a country that claims it is "under God."

  28. 28

I think you meant to say don't bite the hand that feeds you. Sh*tting where you eat implies you're having an affair with a co-worker or someone who lives with you.

As soon as he is replaced from the show he will start a church and fall into some prostitution scam and end up on a reality show.

Good luck to Angus T. Jones. It was nice knowing you.

  29. 29

Oh please. There's nothing wrong with what he said. I've been hearing tv is filth since I was 5. It's all over the internet. I bet even your great great grandmother knows about this. Yes, he said his show, but I think he meant tv in general. I know it's filth. You think I'm actually learning something valuable on The Kardashians or Jersey Shore? No, but I still watch. The religous thing is seperate. When I was hearing stuff about how tv fries your brain, they never talked about religion. Parent follow these rules today as well by not letting their kids watch television. This is nothing new. This is a kid who was put into the industry by his parents, has grown into his own and is following his own path. I think he has his own charity. He probably wants out and want to help people in other ways, but can't get out of his contract. Or is supporting his family. Money doesn't always make you happy, and we've all seen what happens to child actors. If he want's to praise the Lord and stop making filth (which it is by the way) instead of partying all night, doing drugs and getting arrested, then so be it.

  30. adam says – reply to this

    Re: Monica

The same reason this kid is telling you to turn the garbage tv off.

  31. 31

Angus, Angus, Angus, You have just given Chuck Lorre more garbage to write on his vanity cards. ughhh.

  32. NE1 says – reply to this

Re: LovesGossip – Good idea, the one liners about Jake being an idiot have run their course anyway.

  33. 33

Way to bash him for speaking what he believes… If people stop watching the show, he stops getting money. I don't see how he's being a hypocrite. I commend him for saying all of this!

  34. kandycane says – reply to this

I no longer take part in churches or Christians but he's right…it's filth!

How much did Perez donate last year?

No happiness in most Hollywood and the lifestyle in drunks, and whore mongers. But I love how all you hate religion.

  35. kandycane says – reply to this

Re: charliechaplin@ – me too! It's a shame how our world has turned out. Drugs and being a slut is normal. :/ go figure

  36. Tasha says – reply to this

Selah. The only well balanced comment in this thread.

  37. Maryanne says – reply to this

Careful not to eat where you shit Perez H…..oh sorry.

It's obvious you will start picking on him next if he keeps speaking out on his religion.

  38. jacoblove says – reply to this

What is wrong with all of you people?? We are all nobody to judge a person. We should all just be happy for him that he does not want to do Satan's dirty work! I praise him for having the guts to tell it like it is and get off Filthy T.V! He has more guts then anybody would! It's a big deal from being a child star and having a lot of money he has so much to lose. But he doesnt care about it! He is going to gain so much for following God :)

  39. Wow.. says – reply to this

Re: trinigirl123 – I agree..If giving his life and heart to God makes him happy, then so be it! What is wrong with people that think thats bad?! At least he's not "selling out" to Hollywood..where they build you up to rip you down. NO amount of money in the world will make you happy..happiness comes from within..he prolly knows how Hollywood works and thats why he want to leave it in the dust. Most actors and people in the music idustry are nothing but empty shells with tons of money, that do drugs to fill the emptiness and lonliness..most of his life he watched "train wreck Charlie" make more money then anyone on tv and then lose his damn mind, with the help of drugs and whores! If God fills that empty place for him..well then GOOD FOR ANGUS! I am Happy for him!

  40. 40

Let's think about this. He is a child actor. His parents put him on the show. I've watched and loved the Charlie years of 2.5 men but I also questioned the material that this little kid had to read, listen to, and be a part of. Also, he said that he went to a Christian school and it doesn't matter what your philosophical beliefs are but 2.5 men is a risque show and sometimes goes over the line with the sex, drugs, and alcohol. Whenever you have questions, you look for answers and those around him suggested he try out different churches. He is only 19 years old.
This is not a Kirk Cameron situation. Kirk became a Christian because his current wife's father was a pastor and when they were first dating, he took Kirk to a church which changed him. Plus, Growing Pains was an amazing family show. 2.5 men is a raunchy, comedy and sometimes it can be filthy. It all depends on your type of humor. It's better than him getting DUIs and having drug addictions. What gives me hope is that he mentioned compromise in the video and most Evangelicals never compromise. I will just have to see how this one plays out. Very interesting though, didn't see this coming at all.

  41. 41

Re: charliechaplin@ – I totally agree. People need to look deeper than an ungrateful kid who is biting the hand who feeds him. He was a child star, I think that should explain a lot.

  42. Leighann says – reply to this

I like how its ok to do bad things in this world (oh its a scandal and awesome trends) but when someone follows God…they get bashed? To each their own, if you don't want to listen to your father….don't hate on who does. There is nothing wrong with it and God certainly doesn't hate you. So why should you hate on him? Leave him to his own life.

  43. Amber says – reply to this

Re: Judy o – OMG I COULDNT HAVE SIAD IT BETTER…we have a bunch of rotten rich people

  44. Angel says – reply to this

WOW was he taking some tips from Charlie Sheen? What a ungrateful douch bag! He gets paid a insane amount of money to be a terrible actor on a dumb tv show…he should be VERY grateful not only to god but to the people that watch his show and get him his pay checks.. dumb move..i hope they fire him

  45. Amber says – reply to this

Re: kennedy59 – I think this might have to be the dumbest comment ive read on here. No one is saying he sholdnt believe what he does but he has no right to bash the show that has made him more money then he would have ever had in his life without this show..hope he gets fired for being such a ungrateful puke

  46. livia says – reply to this

he can believe whatever he wants and say whatever he wants as long as he deals with the consequences that follow. maybe people will pay attention to this and agree with him, maybe they wont. he seems to take things a bit to the extreme with calling the tv show filth, when a lot of people and christians would argue that his weed consumption is filth as well. he even sounds high in this interview. i think hes just a young kid that doesn't fully understand what he's saying

  47. @v@ says – reply to this

He's at that 'tangent' age. Someone should give him the middle ground/common sense and gratefulness talk. Just think of all the homeless and needy he could help with all that money he makes. There's a lot worse out there than 2 1/2 men. He can ask forgiveness while he spends it on the less fortunate.

  48. KEVIN says – reply to this

also this is just a phase soon he'll be doing the booger sugar like everyone else.

  49. 49

I don't get there bible bashers. Please. Go away Angus T. Jones.

  50. Caroline says – reply to this

We must continue to defend the freedom we have achieved and not let these churches censor any expression. Angus, anyone who wants to tell you what to do is the real "enemy".

  51. Jackee says – reply to this

And the cult of Christianity just got him. He is uneducated and ignorant and it's embarrassing.

  52. jess says – reply to this

Finally a REAL CHRISTIAN IN HOLLYWOOD STATING HIS BELIEFS!!!! this is rare from this day and age where gay marriage is legal and and where your allowed thoption to kill an innocent baby atleast this kid has enough balls to stand up for what he believes in PRAISE AND SHOUT OUT TO ANGUS!!!

  53. 53

Re: jess – Oh yeah? Let's see if he has "the balls" to give back ALL the filthy money he made off of the filthy show. Then and only then would people take him seriously. He makes 8 million dollars a year off this show and is set for life financially all thanks to this show yet he feels the need to trash it? First of all the show isn't just about him, it employs hundreds of people, some of who don't even make half of what he does, he would have them lose their jobs and income all because of what he believes? If its so bad then leave the damn show, don't try to ruin it for everyone else. Clearly he has been brain washed. He sounds like all those people who spend way too much time on YouTube looking at illuminati videos who feel as though they have been enlightened with some kind of hidden truth. Give me a break.

  54. 54

    completely brain washed!!!

  55. Hannah says – reply to this

I'm disgusted not by this kid, but by the fact that his personal beliefs and convictions are considered "brain washed" and "mental".

  56. Mikayla says – reply to this

His personal convictions are his own, he is not brainwashed. He dosn't want to be on a show that supports the things he is against. Don't judge someone for thinking different than you. Now if he has an oppurtunity to walk away from the show and he does not then he is being hypocritical.

  57. Mikayla says – reply to this

Re: Judy o – he was on the show since he was around 6. It was not his decision it was his parents. Besides how can you say someone's brain washed or ungrateful for speaking up for what they believe? Maybe the money isn't worth promoting things he is against.

  58. Office Drone says – reply to this

Wow. First off, he looks like a spitting image of my first love from 10 years ago when he was 21. Kind of freaky. Well, that's opinion and he has a right to it, even though I don't agree with him. That's not what is concering, what I find most concerning is how he keeps rambling. He seems very, very into his own head and I'm not sure whether he's trying to make himself believe all he's saying or what, but he's losing it. I think a lot of younger adults battle with this, I know I did when I was in my mid 20's. I don't think he's a bad person for it, he may even look back 10 years from now as an atheist.

  59. Ally says – reply to this

Read this before calling him ungrateful and whatnot

  60. 60

til I looked at the draft ov $7328, I accept that my best friend was like they say actualy receiving money part-time on their computer.. there aunts neighbour haz done this for only nineteen months and just repayed the dept on there villa and got a new Volkswagen Golf GTI. go to, Cloud68.com

  61. Vamps says – reply to this

Watching the video, his entire commentary or interview or talk or whatever this is supposed to be billed as seems stilted and incoherent and at times even bordering on bizarre…But, you know, maybe he'll team up with Kirk Cameron and Ray Comfort once he leaves Two and a Half Men (lol).

By now, though, he's already on record as having apologized for this (I suppose his employers and co-workers weren't pleased with this video and made him apologize because in the end he probably didn't want to be sued AND he knew where his bread was buttered). I kind of wonder what the guy in this video with him thinks of that, considering the little parting speech he gave about how he thought Angus was going to continue to prove in the days to come how god was working through him. He practically vouched for Angus. What's he think about the apology? Lol~

Re: Avery – actually he just gained it… lasting peace, happiness, salvation I mean you can literally see it in his smile. For someone with the demeanor of a pebble this is as much emotion that I've ever seen from him and I can totally relate. I didn't get the privilage of giving away a million dollar lifestyle for our maker but… it feels good to love and forgive even those who will only have insults for me. I love you all! I hope soon while there is still yet time that the Lord will call out to you too.
