Today's sad news is brought to you by the letters "Z," "O," "M," and "G!"
As in: "ZOMG!! What the heck is happening at 123 Sesame Street?!"
An unidentified male filed suit against Kevin Clash, accusing the former Elmo puppeteer of sexual abuse in 2000 — at a time when the alleged victim was only 16.
Saying he found Kevin on a chat-line before meeting him in person to hook up, the alleged victim plans to release his proof in conjunction with his forthcoming novel focusing on his underage sexual escapades with the children's TV star.
He even claims that that Kevin provided alcohol to him and "groomed him" into engaging in sexual activity that included "oral sex and digital penetration of John's anus."
Of course, it's fishy that the unnamed plaintiff's lawsuit coincides with a book release, but he isn't the first person to speak out against Mzr. Clash.
In fact, this is the third person in only two weeks to accuse the man behind Elmo of taking sexual advantage of underage boys. The first accuser, however, changed his story several times.
Kevin quietly resigned from Sesame Street last week after the second accuser came forward.
These are horrible allegations of heinous crimes — we sincerely hope they prove to be unfounded because no child deserves to suffer through that.
