Angus T. Jones Apologizes For Bashing Two and a Half Men

The "Half" in Two and a Half Men is "sorry" for getting caught bashing the famous sitcom.
It appears Angus T. Jones didn't mean to say the show is a bunch of "filth" that "the enemy" (Satan) uses to trick us condone unholiness — or at least he didn't mean to say in on camera!
The young star released a statement apologizing to the network that pays him $350,000 per episode, saying:
Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.
I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."
Are you kidding?
How could someone involved with the show NOT feel totally insulted and disrespect by what he said? After all, he URGED people to stop watching the damn show!
It seems that what Angus means is he never intended for them to hear him.
Read Angus' full apology/statement…. AFTER THE JUMP!!
"I have been the subject of much discussion, speculation and commentary over the past 24 hours.
While I cannot address everything that has been said or right every misstatement or misunderstanding, there is one thing I want to make clear. Without qualification, I am grateful to and have the highest regard and respect for all of the wonderful people on Two and Half Men with whom I have worked and over the past ten years who have become an extension of my family.
Chuck Lorre, Peter Roth and many others at Warner Bros. and CBS are responsible for what has been one of the most significant experiences in my life to date. I thank them for the opportunity they have given and continue to give me and the help and guidance I have and expect to continue to receive from them.
I also want all of the crew and cast on our show to know how much I personally care for them and appreciate their support, guidance and love over the years. I grew up around them and know that the time they spent with me was in many instances more than with their own families. I learned life lessons from so many of them and will never forget how much positive impact they have had on my life.
I apologize if my remarks reflect me showing indifference to and disrespect of my colleagues and a lack of appreciation of the extraordinary opportunity of which I have been blessed. I never intended that."

Poor kid, brainwashed by a pastor. TSK TSK. Watch him lose his job now. I bet he had that damn preacher down his throat saying he was going to hell if he continued on the show. Think for yourselves people stop being brainwashed by people telling you its there way or hell.
Yeah I don't think he showed indifference…He does know what that means right. I could see the Pastor's thought bubble (Please don't insult your show…money dries up). I guess Charlie Sheen would be the inspiration for how you would never ever choose to be….
he's 19 years old he's a dumb kid who was brainwashed by religious zealots. It's not like a 35 year old is saying this. He'll probably lose his job but chill perez you're like one of the worst human beings to exist so i'm not sure why you think you have to right to call everyone else out
The general public would never have heard what he said if the church that is brainwashing him hadn't released the video. Dude should stop giving those religious freaks his money since they outed him.
Really he is right Hollywood is satanic and Perez you took the oath. Believe the kid, the only reason he is apololying is because he could get killed……He has been warned just like Lindsay Lohan
What???
This is an ADVERTISING PLOY…AND IT'S WORKING & SAVED CBS millions & millions in advertising costs.
Everyone already knows the show is FILTHY & UN-GODLY!
It is a PR backpedal, that is all. His agency has no doubt been running around like headless chickens in recon mode all day sorting this mess. I doubt he had anything to do with the apology wording at all. Two and a Half Men really is mindless crap and I agree with that point, but I can't help but get the impression that the video he is in, is hyperbole and actually making fun of the wingnut pastor and his accusations.
as Adam implied I'm shocked that you able to earn $7328 in one month on the internet. did you look at this page Cloud68.com
Re: Pray the Gay Away… – crazy stupid f@cker. Go back in your moms basement and masturbate to the bible.
I believe he really meant it when he said he didnt mean to insult anybody. I believe that people r taking this out of context, he most likely just meant the content is filth, which he isnt lying….tv nowadays is 90% filth. I also watched another tv show who is actually affiliated w/ the SDA church (Turning Point), where he says that he has so much fun at the show and it doesn't feel like work.
He has a bunch of evil self serving assholes goading him on the say this crap. They dont care about him just their BS agenda. How " christian" of them
Dude perez, he's 19. He's still half stupid. And probably brainwashed.
Yeah, that was written by him…
So much for his (agent's/lawyer's) sincere apology.
Come on! No 19-year-old wrote that apology! Like every other "celebrity apology", It was written by a frantic 40-year-old publicist who had to convice an idiot kid that their money train would soon come to an end, if something wasn't done IMMEDIATELY! You know this kid has an army on his payroll that just saw their live$$ flash before their eyes!
What's in the water on that set?! Next, I think Jon will come OUT soon; and Demi will stalk and kill Ashton in front of a live studio audience (maybe even during sweeps!); and Charlie will be winning!
In my opinion he has a point to some extent — for instance I stopped watching the night Ashton slept with Charlie's Mom. That pushed the envelope a bit too much for me. It was not funny, it was disgusting.
Re: BuckeyeWxGuy – 40? I'm not so sure. I think some young 20 year old brainy writer might have pushed the 40 year old out of his spot. I'm going with 25-28 year old brainy writer who went home afterwards and laughed it off with other brainy friends.
well that show is filth….as is most tv, everything is perverted and pretty much everything, including commercials is geared around sex…..and people wonder why kids are having kids….duh
never intended it ? sure didn't sound that way. my guess is his publicist wrote the apology, he isn't articulate enough.
i say, forgive him he's to young.
No One finds God (though I never think he is actually missing) and becomes a bible thumper because their life is good, because they have people who care about them and can help them fill some mental break. So annoying to do this on perez but his rant of good and evil at 19 sound like mental illness could be possible.
No way he wrote that. He doesn't speak or think like that. That apology is the work of a PR person. Its "crafted." They need to dump his ass - He is a terrible actor and will never work again. While he doesn't need to financially, he will have nothing to do with his life and the life he has known - the life he had all during his formative years - studio production will be gone forever.
Its sad that he had to bash what made him in support of religion. Doesnt seem to make much sense to me. Two and a half men is a scripted sitcom who he and the other cast members are representing are fictional. If anything he could have said two and a half men is a good example of who NOT to be. Not that its filth and he doesnt know why hes on it. The comment was uncalled for, and maybe its just me, but it seems like the pastor was uncomfortable with his comment as well. This kid is taking religion to a level it shouldn't go to. He doesnt deserve his job, and to be making 350k an episode, when theres much more deserving people who know not to bite the hand that feeds them, which correct me if im wrong is also something the Bible teaches. As a christian it was actually upsetting watching this.
Seems like the classic case of child stars going nuts.
he needs some time off, the show should probably just end.
Re: BuckeyeWxGuy – amen to that, lol
he's christian. it's not a cult.. ugh.. obviously lorre called him and demanded a retraction or would kill his contract and angus would end up owing THEM money
**stop **
you're perfect perez. Leave the kid alone and let him sort it out.
You are a loser for pouncing on every person missteps
Just think if Scientology sunk its claws and fangs into him first. Easy target like that and they missed out.
I feel bad for him. He's young and was probably confused and going through a hard time, which is natural at his age, and he got preyed upon by the wrong person and has been basically brain washed by a church that clearly uses religion in less than positive ways. That apology was clearly crafted and honestly didn't make any sense considering what he said…but I still feel for him. Hopefully all the backlash will help wake him up and he can get out of Hollywood and find some actual real help.
Great, you actually made me to read whole article.
He is apologizing because he got caught being a stuck up spoiled douche kid actor. Thankless brat. he won't be the next Jodie Foster believe you me. In 10 years he'll be a huge fat hasbeen doing porn or something.
Re: dude –
LOL take your meds lol
Re: Bevi –
Well you need to send this to every news depaertment in the USA because THEY pounced on it before Perez did. YOu always want to jump down Perez throat , If you hate him so bad go some ploce else to share your hate.
BTW…the 3rd ID patch is backwards. If you are gonna represent a Division in the Army….get it right
Re: heather – Obviously you don't even know who seventh-day adventists are. Nicest christian people I've ever had the pleasure of inviting into my home and I'm an atheist. I don't think it's right that he said what he said, but we're in America, people are allowed to say what they want.
Re: charliechaplin@ – dont bother…..people here just associate christian with cult and crazy people…..a person makes a decision to serve God and realizes that what they are involved in is filth and crap and are struggling to choose to live how God expects his kids to live…..which is NOT the way this immoral world lives and right away he's deemed "crazy" and "brainwashed"
Re: charliechaplin@ – I think you need to look up the definition of a cult
Noun:
A system of religious veneration and devotion directed toward a particular figure or object.
A relatively small group of people having religious beliefs or practices regarded by others as strange or sinister.
so yes, he is christian and he is in a cult
