Adele's 21 Is The 21st Album To Ever Go DIAMOND!

This is AMAZING!

As if Adele weren't having the best year ever, with the birth of her first son last month and the SMASH theme song for the latest Bond movie, Skyfall, the Goddess has just joined a VERY exclusive club of musicians!

Her 2011 album, 21, has now sold over 10 million copies in the United States, which means that is officially certified as "diamond!"

And ironically enough, it's the 21st album to do so!

Feels a little bit like the hands of fate at work here, doesn't it?!

Either way, while she joins the likes of *NSync, Alanis Morissette, and The Bodyguard soundtrack, 21 has the ADDED honor of being the EIGHTH album to go diamond within two years of its release!

Just absolutely effing INCREDIBLE!

And SO well-deserved!

Congratulations, gurl!

That's not even near correct. There are WAY more than 21 albums that have been certified Diamond. I count 112 of them.

Before using words like "ironically" perhaps you should look them up so that you use them correctly, there is no irony there, only coincidence ….

Just so you know, it's not 'ironically', it's coincidental. not much irony about her album being the 21st.
