Angus T. Jones Not Quitting 'Filthy' Two and a Half Men

Is working for Satan's entrainment a sin? Apparently NOT!

The Two and a Half Men star Angus T. Jones can be seen on YouTube asking everyone to "please stop watching" his sitcom because it's "filth" and the work of the Devil, AND he does not even want to be on it.

But despite all that, Angus has no plans of quitting the cash cow show — at least not THIS season!

Sources connected with the one-half actor tell sources "Angus feels terrible that he caused huge problems for the cast and crew." It seems he doesn't want to cause any more problems by quitting before his contract is up. (Which, BTW, is only two episodes away.)

The insiders say "it's almost certain" that he will not be coming back next season.

Apparently he wanted to quit before this season, howevs he was convinced that it would be "stupid to walk out on a contract that could earn him as much as $15 mil."

That IS a lot of money $$$, but is it worth selling your soul??

Angus, if you really believe that money is "filthy" give it away!

Even Charlie Sheen thinks you're acting crazy. Think about THAT!

I'm sure Angus' new churchy friends will be happy to take that filthy money off his hands.

Wow .. aren't we being a little quick to bad mouth and tear down a kid actor who is just trying to state his convictions that the filth you all love to fill your minds with is just that, mindless filth. Perhaps his words cut a little too close, and reveal the truth that you know all too well but wood rather live in opposition to.

The kid is hooked up with a cult. The actual church doesn't even acknowledge that clown that he's connected with. He's young and hopefully he will get over this before it's too late. I am not criticizing religion or anyone's belief in God but that's not what I see going on with him. Once your own family uses the "cult" word you need to take stock.

Your commentary on this story is disappointing and reason enough to stop visiting your site. This is a kid who had a recent life conversion, he met God, and when God meets you where you are, it screws everything up. He's figuring out to live his life with faith. Have you never struggled with belief and application of that belief in your own life? And by the way, a person can have a belief, live a different way than you, and still be tolerant (he was stating his belief. He did not once ridicule his costars or anyone else associated with the show. He was speaking personally to his faith community). To say otherwise is the very essence of intolerance and just plain bullying. Inarticulate as he might be, he seems to have a raw sincerity that should be commended; His is a life that should be prayed for not torn down.

Re: Barbara – He certainly does have a raw sincerity. But aren't you just a little concerned that he is being played?

SACK him!! Not an actor myself but know plenty of talented people in Hollywood that would love to have job especially a long term one that pays good money. What an ungrateful little *** And on a personal note yeh maybe the show is a bit crude and rude sometimes but not nearly as funny without Charlie Sheen whose character you cannot help but like for all his flaws.

It's really interesting to me the number of Christian's who think it's fine for him to think the show is filth, who also believe the show is filth themselves and displeases "God", but who also think it's totally fine for him to continue being on this filthy program taking filthy money for saying filthy things because Christian's can dislike something but tolerate it. Where is all that tolerance when it comes to gay marriage in America? When it comes to that, you better believe sin is sin, but when it's something affecting the lives of straight people everything magically falls into a grey zone.

That all being said, it's painfully obvious that this kid is looking for some kind of faith and he is being preyed upon by those bible thumpers who scream of how satan will come for you if you do not leave you wicked ways. I bet if he went back to that pastor and said he put his entire fortune in a bank account that he himself couldn't even touch for 2 years he would never hear from that church again. I don't believe in God, but surely there is someone out there who does who actually promotes the best parts of faith and can take this poor boy under their wing. If church makes him fulfilled I'm all for that, but he needs a real man of God and not someone who smells like a shyster even through the computer screen.

Re: Thy Word is Truth – If it's such filth as he says, then why would he want "filthy" money? Because he's a hypocrite that's why. No one is bashing his beliefs. What everyone has a problem with is that he claims that everything related to the show is filthy yet he has no problem benefiting from what he calls sin. If his beliefs are as strong as he says then he would just quit the show.

Why do you always have it out for god? I don't visit your site often (i'm reminded why) but you always have to hate on peoples beliefs and their moral thoughts.. My opinion is that you need to sit down with god and have a chat..

  10. 10

During the draft people went to jail because it was against their religion. People have died for being a certain religion openly. And this kid won't quit a show he finds filthy? If he really thought this show was so evil he would quit, contract or not.

  11. 11

Re: BRYN – Belief in god has been the excuse for more killing, discrimination, war, hatred, misogyny, and restriction of thought, speech, and creativity than any other force on earth. Maybe instead of people sitting down with god, they should realize that they are responsible and accountable for their own actions, and the thought process that led to those actions.

    Dear Perez,
I understand you think it is hypocritical, but do you know what else is hypocritical? When you went on Ellen and said you would stop making judgmental reports and hurtful reports pertaining to these peoples lives, and really just make it a healthy site. A bunch of my friends who were watching said that it was bull and you weren't really going to go through with it. But let me tell you that I really believe you would stop (coming from someone who has stopped bullying and created a anti-bullying team in her environment) and I was really proud of you. Now, this is a young boy, a kid only my age, and I know it would be really hard to draw the line of what to do at such a young age. Think back to when you were 19, 20, 21… This kid said nothing directly hurtful to his cast members or crew, only how he felt. And there is something inspiring about the way he is speaking out, like so many christians my age are afraid to. He is still just trying to find his way, and navigate his way through what to do. And I think you should give him the room to do so. I really hope you read this, and I just want you to know you really let me down. I was a real fan of yours and officially resign. But I wish you only the best in your future. P.s. I really did like your show too.

I'm sure that wasn't gods intentions it's the peoples fault all that is happening because of their way of converting what they read in the Koran or the Bible.
Ha, so funny when stupid people like you blame it on god for Human misconceptions.

Anyone else notice that the Forerunner church in L.A. is a daughter church of the International House of Prayer in Kansas City (which is the one that the nuts involved in the Bethany Deaton murder we're hearing in the news)? Weird stuff all at the same time!

  17. 17

Re: wtf is a rosebud – I don't believe in god, therefore I blame god for nothing, but I do blame people's belief in god for causing a boat load of problems.

How do you tell people not to watch a show b/c it's 'bad' but that you won't quit because of the money you make????

You claim religion says its wrong but won't walk away from it because it's making you rich'? Are you sure you've read the bible?

You are the worst kind of voice for a religion because you're doing/saying exactly what has caused everyone to see religion as a joke.

    Dear Perez,

WOW! IT seems you can't wait to jump at this kid every chance you get. How many stories have you done on him now?? Also, you act as though you have never gotten in a tizzy yourself. Does the name Will.I.Am mean anything to you?
You QUICKLY apologized for your horrendous comments about the LGBT community and this kid has apologized also. I can't believe you can't cut him some slack!
Where is all the peace and love you are talking about all the time?
Or is he different because his religious views are different.
Just very sad that you can't practice what you preach. This kid grew up with Charlie Sheen for crying out loud!

    22

Re: Betty – Betty, the issue isn't his religious or moral beliefs. It's that he's pontificating about what a corrupt show it is, but is actively participating in its making and although he could quit as he says he doesn't want to work on the show any more, he doesn't (suggesting that the financial side of things is more important to him than his publically stated religious beliefs).

Talk without action is just hot air and a whole lot of noise

  23. 23

Re: Thy Word is Truth – I agree with you. Before people decide to blab out some crap about something they have NO IDEA or NO knowledge about, you should do YOUR own research! Don't rely on the sources of the media. You don't know if it's made up or taken from an unreliable source. Why would you want to be left in the dark about the truth?? DO YOUR RESEARCH! Angus did his.
In the video he (Angus) also says that he STUDIED for himself. Meaning: He was not brainwashed or forced to do anything it was completely his choice. Why? well because he has FREEDOM OF CHOICE just like everyone else has. It's not up to you to say what he should and should not do. It's not exactly rocket science, its simple.
i'm sure If you were to ask Angus about why he became a Seventh Day Adventist he will be able to tell you, he would have researched into it thoroughly before he made his decision.
but the question is, What do you have to back up your "Theories"? The Oh! soo reliable Media?
    How naive..

  25. 25

Assuming it wasn't a publicity stunt this simply makes him an epic hypocrite. Which most religious people are. That is why religion is a joke. They pick and choose which things they want to follow, etc. Sure, he thinks the show is filth, but he loves that paycheck more than his beliefs. Typical Christian idiot.
