We can't even begin to fathom what goes on in the inner sanctum of James Franco's intricate, ridiculous headspace…

And R.E.M.'s latest music video for That Someone Is You is yet another example of the inexplicable nature of Mr. Franco's creative endeavors!

James directs AND stars in the vid which is a BTS look at a recreation of the end scene of Grease, with James playing Danny Zuko, and a lady with a giant, super-imposed kitty cat head portraying the role of Sandy.

And no, that is NOT the body of James' rumored new love interest Ashley Benson… we don't think!

AND let's not forget that the last R.E.M. video that James directed randomly depicts Lindsay Lohan about two thirds of the way in.

Cool? Interesting? Nonsense? Random sh*t strung together? We guess we'll never know!

Miley Cyrus Insists Alcohol Is 'Way More Dangerous' Than Weed! Shares Her New Priorities As An Adult & Artist!

Perhaps Amanda Bynes would have been better off giving Miley Cyrus her bong!

The We Can’t Stop singer interviewed with Rolling Stone magazine for their July 4th issue, and revealed her fairly liberal thoughts on drugs and alcohol.

Given her stoner reputation, we’re not totally surprised. Though, when asked to clarify her penchant for weed, she said:

"You can't ask someone that and expect them to say yes... I did a song with Snoop Dogg called 'Ashtrays and Heartbreaks,' so people can put it together for themselves."

That sounds fairly straightforward to us. Mileybird then went ahead to state that she thinks there are things much, much worse than a little bit of the green stuff:

"I think alcohol is way more dangerous than marijuana -- people can be mad at me for saying that, but I don't care... I've seen a lot of people spiral down with alcohol, but I've never seen that happen with weed."

She added:

"As long as it isn't illegal, there are far more dangerous things. And it's legal in the state of California. So I'm happy to live in California, a place where you can be whoever you want to be."

Well, Miley, marijuana isn’t exactly legal in California unless you have a prescription, so we’re not entirely sure what you mean. But, okay...

As for her transition from Disney teen idol to mature pop star, she said:
