One Direction's Liam Payne Gets Told Off On Twitter… By The Empire State Building?!
All while Harry Styles and Taylor Swift were off frolicking around the Big Apple, another One Direction member was off getting high — and was left FUMING!
Earlier this week, 1D member Liam Payne took a tour of the Empire State Building with his family and ended up with a not-so-pleasant experience!
Liam tweeted, then later deleted:
"Just been to the Empire State Building had a great time except… The security detail, in particular the senior security supervisor, was arrogant, unprofessional and extremely disrespectful to my family @EmpireStateBldg #TheresAlwaysTimeForManners."
Uh oh… that doesn’t sound like much fun! Wonder what could’ve gone down?!
Whatever it was, Payne’s tweet ended up getting the attention of the building’s staff, who fired back at his alleged encounter!
The building’s official Twitter wrote:
.@real_liam_payne bad behaviour not accepted at ESB. No, our security does not know who you are, and does not care.

Ouch! How’s that for a blow to the ego, even after performing a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden???
Though now, it sounds like Liam was instructed to make nice with the NYC landmark, seeing as he sent out a number of tweets to apologize!
The 1D crooner tweeted:

Re: Carolann1901 – how was he being arrogant? He said he had a great time but found the staff rude. He didn't say "I found the staff rude and they should know how to treat a celebrity." He was just ticked off about how rude they were to his family. I think ESB staff come back was also very rude again. It should not matter about who he is he was a paying customer. Customers deserve to be treated with kindness.
