Kate Middleton's Nurse Reportedly Commits Suicide: The Palace Speaks!

| Filed under: Royals RoyceR.I.P.Kate MiddletonSad Sad

Such a tragedy!

Jacintha Saldanha, one of Kate Middleton's nurses who fell victim to a radio prank was found dead in her home Friday morning, the cause of which is believed to be suicide.

King Edward VII's hospital where Jacintha worked for years released a statement, and now St. James Palace has released their own thoughts on the horrible event.

The statement reads:

"The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are deeply saddened to learn of the death of Jacintha Saldanha. Their Royal Highnesses were looked after so wonderfully well at all times by everybody at King Edward VII Hospital, and their thoughts and prayers are with Jacintha Saldanha's family, friends and colleagues at this very sad time."

Jacintha — a trained nurse — was actually helping on reception when the prank call was made and transferred the DJs to Kate's private nurse.

May Jacintha find peace.

It wasn't the nurse who gave out the info though, it was the one who forwarded the call to the duchess' personal nurse.

Bad vibes around this pregnancy. RIP to this woman's family. Shocking that she felt she had to do this.

    May Jacintha find peace. ???

She's dead. She can't find anything, moron.

RIP much sympathy to her family and friends. very sad, I wonder if the prank lost her her job or if she was just embarrassed. some people in America would be shocked to discover that some people take their jobs very seriously. wonder what the shock jocks got to say now.

Re: shelly – I know what a terrible turn this all took. Imagine how those DJ's are feeling now. Let's pray for Kate's baby.

I do not understand why Catherine Middleton was in hospital for morning sickness. Don't you women who have morning sickness throw up at home in the loo?

Suicide or murder? The royals have a way with living dead bodies wherever they go.

Prayers for her family. I feel the djs should be charged someething. Their actions cause her death.

Re: Phylin – Ya but she had severe morning sickness. It does vary and isn't always just about throwing up.

Re: Phylin – it wasn't just morning sickness, it was severe…my sister had the same kind and she couldn't eat without throwing and had to go in hospital for it and the doctors even asked if she wanted to terminate because it was so bad and she got so ill, but she got better.

Re: shaygirl1309 – Yeah, we'd be shocked since no one in the US takes their jobs seriously. *eyeroll*

Re: Phylin – It was severe. She probably was becoming very dehydrated and couldn't keep liquids down, so she needed to be hooked up to an IV.

Re: Phylin – It depends on how bad it is. I just had a bit of nausea with no throwing up, and a friend of mine had severe vomiting all nine months. Kate was throwing up so much she became dehydrated, meaning she couldn't even keep water down. If that happens the baby and mother become at risk for death. Every woman's hormones during pregnancy are different, and even each pregnancy for an individual girl can differ. It's something we sadly can't control.

Definitely not suicide! She had a family and 2 children, doubt she'd just leave them because she was "embarrassed"! Poor woman, just trying to do her job, and this is what happens. Such a shame.
