Kate Middleton's Nurse Who Was Fooled By Radio Prank Found Dead Of Suspected Suicide

How absolutely tragic!!
One of Kate Middleton's nurses who was fooled by a radio prank into transferring a call to Kate's private carer — who then proceeded to give out private information on air — has reportedly committed suicide.
While there are barely any details surrounding the death, A Scotland Yard spokesman said:
"Police were called at approximately 9.35am this morning to a report of a woman found unconscious at an address in Weymouth Street, W1. London Ambulance Service attended and the woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Inquiries are continuing to establish the circumstances of the incident. The death is not being treated as suspicious at this stage."
We're sure more information will be released soon.
The woman in question was one of a few nurses who attended to Prince William's pregnant wife while she was being treated at King Edward VII Hospital for sever morning sickness. She was working reception when the prank call took place.
So incredibly sad. Our thoughts are with her family and loved ones.
May she RIP.

jesus. it was just a joke. can't people have a sense of humor? there was no reason for everybody to get so dramatic about it. the radio station probably shouldn't have called in the first place, but the hospital shouldn't have let them through and the palace shouldn't have been so upset about it. at the end of the day, this lady was just a regular person and we all make mistakes. just because kate is a duchess, that doesn't mean her privacy is anymore sacred than everybody else's.
im sure the radio host feel like dicks now
I hope those Aussie DJs feel really good about that stupid prank now !
Those radio hosts are disgusting.
It's the receptionist who put the call through not the nurse who committed suicide.
Direct result of people like u Perez, her blood is on your hands.
Wardrobe malfunction alert! You weren’t mena to see Sofia Vergara, Beyonce and Kim K like this!
It's not the nurse who has died, it's the receptionist who put the djs through to the nurse who gave away private info
Sad that her embarrassment pushed her to this.
ya right… suicide..
well her family certainly has a strong case for intentional infliction of emotional distress. those djs are going to get sued and i hope they lose!!!
Well, their listener base just shot up 10000 fold.
IT WAS THE RECEPTIONNIST NOT THE NURSE
Re: mel –
You Mel, should be ashamed of how completely ignorant you are. Have you ever heard of doctor/patient confidentiality? No you haven't because you're uneducated. Nurses should NEVER give out personal information to anyone, especially when it refers to the future QUEEN ON ENGLAND. This is a tradegy, not a joke.
Re: littleme87 – stop talkin through your backside, the press or media dont ring up askin details about average joe on the street, there are pranks and there are stupid media idiots who think it will boost ratings, and all its done is ruin a life and many other people who love and care about this nurse, they should be charged with harassment and invasion of privacy, and you need to get a sense of decency……
I think she was murder by the queen!!!! Just like princess Diane this motherfuckers kill her !! Money & power = suicide yaright !!!
Yes the nurse/reception WHOEVER gave up the info made the mistake of falling for the prank and giving away confidential info (something that ALL people should receive) but all people make mistakes.
I do hope that the radio show pranksters get in some deep s**t for misrepresenting themselves. They were calling to get personal confidential information on a radio station, not like they were calling someone asking if their fridge was still running. There's a difference.
Now you and your sick fans are going to make fun of it huh?
Maybe she hung herself with an IV line? Go get a picture of the nurse and draw a crown on head?
Drama Queen! Nurse Di?
Perez, you should have known better to have spread rumors like you did when you were "young". Castro's dead!? Was that the joke? See what you could have caused? Suicides? Traffic accidents? Molestations?
As a journalist-you should stand up for the truth!
Not for some laughs, yuck-yucks and silly frat boy pranks!
You are no better than those DJ's! Pot- Kettle - Black!
She made a mistake and she paid with her life
I don't. Give a fuck if Kate is going to be queen one day . She never will be lady Diane , Elizabeth kill princess Diane !!! Those fuckers are assholes !!!!fuck the uk !!!
Re: mel – I don't think her privacy was any more sacred than anyone else at all. Hospital's aren't supposed to release patient information over the phone in any case.
The Wicked Witch of Buckingham Palace does not play games; just look at what she did to Prince William's Muslim Loving Knocked-Up Mother….
The royal family killed her, like they did with Diana. Those dj must be feeling really bad
Re: mel – SOMEONE DIED! How do you not understand this? Stop being insensitive, it's all a joke until someone gets hurt, or DIES. And considering Kate is carrying the future heir to the British throne, I think her privacy is more important than your average person when it's to do with the baby. You clearly aren't British or you'd understand how upsetting this prank was to us. And now one of our people has died due to what some stupid Australian DJs thought was funny.
was the royal family
@mel - Actually, her privacy is more important than everybody else's just because of the attention she would receive (probably negative). If a random person's information were accidentally revealed, nobody would care. But when news reporters and paparazzi report every little thing they find out about her, it is important you don't reveal anything confidential. Although if the nurse did commit suicide over this, I think it is an overreaction. She has every right to be upset over her mistake, but death? Nah.
Was it suicide? Or was the royal family pissed at her for leaking info?…
Re: CLO –
the nurse was the receptionist
Just to clear it up: The woman found dead is NOT the woman who gave out all the details. She is the one who at first answered the phone, and then passed the call through to the second nurse.
I don't think the radio presenters can be blamed for this… it was a silly, stupid joke that they will no doubt always regret, but there was NO WAY they could have foreseen the series of events that have followed. It's incredibly sad and unfortunate, but I don't really think the blame can be lay in anyone's lap.
Re: Angela430 – Allegations that the Royal Family are behind this are ridiculous. The Palace never reprimanded the hospital for what happened, OR the nurses, they only released a statement dubbing the presenters' actions as stupid. They even offered their 'full support' for the nurses that had been fooled.
If it were a murder then Scotland Yard would have found evidence suggesting it as such.
The Palace doesn't have enough power and influence to get away with something like this, even if it wanted to. Scotland Yard and the government do not answer to the Palace, so they would not be aided in covering it up.
It goes to show that, however unexpected, pranks can have consequences. When people are led to make mistakes, it costs them (punishments on different levels–up to losing your job.) Although the call "sounded funny" when you are on the receiving end of being mocked by everyone for not having noticed it was a prank (at 5:30am mind you), I can assure you it is NOT funny. Add that to the risk of losing your job over it… People at the hospital and the palace are just acting on how to keep it from happening again. People should think before they act.
What kind of people prank call a hospital? And for private medical information about an ill pregnant woman, who happens to be carrying the heir to the British throne? My condolences to the nurse's family, friends and colleagues. Support and well wishes to William, Kate and their unborn child.
Wow. This is horrible. Absolutely horrible. Wow. Wow. So sad. Condolences to her family and friends.
Re: Laura –
Holy man you don't read… "It's not the nurse who has died, it's the receptionist who put the djs through to the nurse who gave away private info".
The article clearly says the NURSE who died was working AS RECEPTION at the time. Sheesh.
This was an idiotic prank to begin with. Whenever you compromise someone's job you're going too far and then to top it off with a barrage of stupid jokes was childish. The woman should not have taken it to this extreme but let's get real why was the "prank" necessary? Wasn't it just another attempt at gutter humor? At some point we need to pull back and look at what is acceptable behavior from the media.
Such a sad story all around! May she rest in peace.
just shows the brits take this shit too seriously noone else really cares a prank is not good enough reason to off urself i dont think the radio station are to blame just because someone chooses to off themselves
Those 2 DJ's will pay for this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: mel – Absolutely!!!
Jake - there's no such thing as the Queen of England. England's not a country. It's a constituent part of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
You're right on the DPA but wrong on the rest of it. Also, Katherine Middleton won't be Queen of anything. She'll be a royal consort.
Eeryone else, stfu until you know what you're chatting about.
Re: bunnyriffic – England is a country you idiot
Nurse was acting receptionist…. She killed herself…. or the Queen killed her….
Re: Voivode – says you! What do you really know? No more than anyone else…
Dont't you folks listen to NPR? There was a statement from the administration at the hospital confirming it was the nurse.
British royal family = mafia!
Re: FUCK YOUR BOTY!!XTINA! – totally agree!!!
Fucking Aussies.
Re: Jake – THEY WERE BOTH NURSES!
I think see was killed by secret service
damm those royals
just like what they did to Diana
Find it hard to believe ,there were no criticisms or threats from the establishment!
Re: fid – it wasn't the receptionist who gave away the information - she just put the call through to the nurse in kate's room. anyone could have made the same mistake, may she rest in peace
