Well, we wouldn't be surprised if they were prohibited from talking to the press… after being FIRED!
News broke Friday that Jacintha Saldanha, one of Kate Middleton's nurses, was found dead in her home after a suspected suicide.
Jacintha had been victim to a highly publicized prank call conducted by Australian radio DJs Mel Greig and Michael Christian earlier this week, and now it seems that the 2Day FM DJs have been ordered to not talk to the press in the wake of this disturbing tragedy.
They have also both deleted their Twitter accounts, and rumor has it they've both been fired. (But nothing has been confirmed yet.)
Jacintha was working reception at King Edward VII hospital when the prank call came through, and believing Mel and Micheal to be Queen Elizabeth and Prince Charles respectively, she transferred the call to Kate's private nurse, who then dished out confidential information concerning Kate's welfare.
It really only makes sense that the DJs be fired, even if the call had nothing to do with Jacintha's death, it was an idiotic and invasive move in the first place!
