Re: Pray the Gay Away… – OH, bite me. Professionally Vince is a veteran rock vocalist and a consummate stage performer. I've never seen him perform with anything but raw joy, and he utilizes every square inch of a stage and the mic with impeccable timing. He. Kicks. Ass.
If he decided to take a swing, you can probably bet that the dude on the floor maybe had something coming. As far as Neil's personal life, I reserve comment.

First of all this was not a Motley Crue show. It was Vince doing a solo gig.

Ive been to many Mötley & Vince Neil solo band shows over the years, and spent time in private conversation and Make-A-Wish charity events. Vince Neil is always extremely gracious and kind to all of his and both bands true fans. He was being provoked by this idiot - who was warned repeatedly to stop the illicit provoking behavior toward Vince, PRIOR to being escorted away. Now, we were just at the Orlando show Hard Rock Live this past Thursday evening 12/6/12 and I can tell you Vince personally took time to meet dozens of fans BEFORE AND after the show, (which absolutely ROCKED), signing mementos and posing for pics. I know because my friends and I spoke to Vince backstage after his set and he was drenched & exhausted from putting his all into the gig, (plus having spent the afternoon with Rain and friends on Universal Studios rides in the park), but still Vince, Dana Strum, Jeff Blando & the incredibly talented Zoltan Chaney and Mark Slaughter played to perfection ROCKIN the roof off the place - but STILL spent quality time with several dozen fans backstage AFTER show in good conversation/photos/autographs AND complimentary refreshments & pizza! These guys all, especially Vince, Mötley, SLAUGHTER treat their fans like family & longtime personal "friends". Shame on PerezHilton who makes a living doing celeb public smear campaigns (for the majority of his spun negative "gossip"), ahem - I mean Lies.
This is NOT a Motley Crue show, as none of the other band members are on stage with him. The person had apparently been grabbing at Vince and had been told to stop.
