Singer Jenni Rivera Missing After Plane Crash.

This is so beyond awful that we're having trouble even finding the right words here.

Mexican-American singer Jenni Rivera was reportedly one of five passengers on an airplane that went down shortly after its take-off this morning in Mexico, and sadly, she is now missing and feared to be dead.

According to the country's transportation ministry, the flight left from Monterrey, where Rivera had performed earlier that night, and was bound for Toluca when the plane lost contact with radar 61 miles out at 3:15am.

Along with the five passengers, there were two pilots, and our thoughts go out to all of their friends, family, and loved ones during this horrific, impossibly difficult time.

We are praying that all of them are found safe and uninjured!

    This is HORRIBLE! I can't believe it! As a Hispanic person who would often See Jenny Rivera in shows and gossip news, etc I am used to seeing her as a Television personality even though i don't listen to her music…

    Jenni Rivera's plane has not been determined to have crashed. The plane has dissappeared. As of right now Laura Lucio Jenni's personal friend has stated to just spoken to Jenni's family.. they ask for prayer and not to jump to conclusions.

    There is no words to this tragedy the Mexican community is going thru, I grew up listening to jenni she's like our Whitney houston! I was very fortunate to meet her when I was only 12 years old, she was so kind to me while I was so shy, she kept hugging me and kissing me, signed my hat and told me to always reach for the stars and follow my dreams! She was a great person to look up to, she would do anything for anyone in need and they officially announced aug.6 to be jenni rivera day for all the charity work she was done and successfully accomplished. She was more than an artist to us. she was our friend our family! God truly wanted an angel with him and may she rest in piece. My condolences to her family, friends, and fans. WE LOVE YOU JENNI! If there was no impact markings and the plane's pieces were found scattered over a large area it might have been blown up while in the air. Very sad and tragic.
