Well, this is a dream team if we've ever seen one!!

Cyndi Lauper and Adam Lambert took to the stage together for a rendition of Mad World by Tears for Fears.

The once-in-a-lifetime moment took place during the Cyndi Lauper and Friends: Home for the Holidays at New York's Beacon Theater to benefit the Time After Time singer's True Colors Fund to benefit LGBT youth.

We love a charitable cause, especially when it brings together such a cool group of people, including Sarah McLachlan, St. Vincent, Jason Mraz, Whoopi Goldberg, and Rosie O'Donnell.

You weren't in New York to enjoy the festivities either?! Enjoy the MADNESS (above) !!!!

I would not normally come here (Perez hasn't been good to Adam) but with Adam I read as much as possible. He is of course awesome and should be huge in America. What a great job he did with Queen and overseas the last few months. I can't wait to see what he does next with the VH1 Divas on Sunday. Thanks Perez. People don't know what they're missing with this guy's incredible stage presence. These are just a few songs….see him sing an entire concert and you'll be mesmerized.

I was lucky enough to be at this show in person and Cyndi and Adam blew the roof off. Great song, great show, and all for a great cause. There were a ton of Glamberts in the audience who went absolutely wild for Adam.

I was there and this duet was truelly the highlight of the evening…So hauntingly beautiful and sooo touching when Cyndie reached out her hand to Adam..It was a beautiful duet and a beautiful show. I always loved Cyndie and of course WILD about Adam, but never realized what a compassiont person she is. Adam we know is always kind and compassionate but never new that about Cyndie. Thanks for posting this, Perez - YOU ROCK !!

Great duet! Cyndi still has it to even keep pace with a power house like Adam Lambert. Beautiful!!
