What a horrible person.
At the time, the religious leader had written on Twitter:

And believe us, it DOES NOT sound good!
The much-hyped new musical, Viva Forever!, which is based around the music of our beloved Spice Girls, premiered last night in London, and while critics were delighted to once again see Posh, Emma Bunton, Melanie Brown, Melanie Chisholm, and Geri Halliwell all together once again…that was about it!
The show has been absolutely torn to SHREDS in pretty much every review released so far!
Here are some HIGHlights:
"The Spice Girls may have been many things, but the authors of a back catalogue packed with deathless pop classics is not among them."
- The Guardian
"I'll tell you what I wanted, what I really, really wanted — I wanted this terrible show to stop. Tawdry, lazy and unedifying…miasma of disappointment emanating from an audience of up-for-it Spice Girls fans slowly realizing that they had paid top whack to see a clunker."
- The Telegraph
"Lacking in any truly original or challenging spark…a prize Christmas turkey."
- The Daily Mail
"You would think it would be easy to strap the songs of one of the biggest girl groups in recent history to an exuberant story of girl power to create a worldwide money-making machine. But you would be wrong."
- The Daily Mirror
But hey! What do the critics know, anyway?!
We LOVE our Spice Girls, and we're SURE that the new show, whether it be popular with certain folks or not, will be a EXCITING treat for fans of platform boots and GIRL POWER!
Keep your chins up, ladies!
