Matt Damon Uses The Internet To Keep His Ego In Check!

How does Matt Damon stay humble? Easy! He reads anonymous Internet comments!

The Bourne Identity star just checks out any article about him and reads three comments! Apparently they get so negative, there's no way he can get a swelled head! Unless that's what they're saying about him…

Ch-ch-check out the video (above) to hear how bad Matt gets it from the anonymous haters of the worldwide web!

Now please, everyone! Just for this one, make the meanest comments you can think of, just for Matt! We love the guy and would hate for his ego to get out of control! LOLz!

Srsly, don't really be mean!

Looks like he has been hitting the all you can eat buffet.

He's one of the few that there isn't really anything bad to say about. He seems like a decent guy and is a good actor. Now his bff Ben…that's a whole different ball game.

I don't think Matt's a fool. But then, what's my own humble opinion against thousands of others?
    Ba-da-boom.

    Hi, Matt.
If you're reading this, guess what? I don't know you personally, so I cannot really comment on that angle, but I think you're a great actor with a very winning and quite human smile. You don't appear to come off as cocky or ridiculous like so many other male actors and WRITERS who have become successful and ride the waves of public opinion.
I loved your role in Good Will Hunting, and the fact that you and your pal Ben got together and wrote it yourself inspired me to slug away at my own screenplay idea. Whether it goes anywhere is up to the fates, but when I watch that movie - which reminds me of me, having been in some therapy of my own in the day - I feel really terrific about myself, and quite encouraged.
We don't hear about you often in the press, and that's a great thing.
I am a fan because you are intelligent, well-spoken and funny.
(Try not to let this give you a swelled head.)
    Thanks for being an entertainer.
    Tara.

    Hi Matt,
I wanted to say hello, and congratulations on your new movie. Out of respect to your wife and kids and to my own boyfriend, I will not gush in this note (although my boyfriend is a big fan too!) but I do want to say that I have always felt a deep connection with you. I think that this is a unique quality that you have as an actor and public figure- the ability to connect with people through your on camera persona and off camera presence. In addition to being a compelling actor with strong and thoughtful choice in films, you are a down to earth, bold, politically outspoken, and caring person. I myself have never acted but have done a lot of contemporary dance, as well as some tango, which often had a theatrical or poetic component to it. I also feel like one day I would love to pick up some acting - some people say I would be a natural! :> Anyway, thank you again for being such a strong actor and compassionate human being. And a final note, my boyfriend thinks as highly of you as I do, so let me know if you ever want to go on a double date! We can show you around the Bay Area a bit :> -Roxanna
