Do we have a Nirvana reunion on our hands with Sir Paul McCartney stepping in for the late Kurt Cobain?
Oh, please say it’s true!
Rumors are running wild that Paul might just be playing with former Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic for the 12-12-12: Concert for Sandy Relief tonight.
Can we even handle that musical madness?!
However, a rep for Paul is playing coy by only divulging:
“We can neither confirm nor deny.”
That's what all the reps say… when the answer is YES!
There really is a good shot of this happening as it seems that Paul recently jammed with Dave and Krist. However, he apparently didn’t know what he was getting into as he revealed:
“They are saying how good it is to be back together. I said ‘Whoa? You guys haven’t played together for all that time?’ … And somebody whispered to me 'That's Nirvana. You're Kurt.' I couldn’t believe it.”
Hmm…maybe they worked on something for tonight?
Well, one thing is for sure. Both Paul and Dave have been confirmed for the show tonight.
Now, we just have to wait and see what that will bring.
But, we would advise they steer clear of one song!
