Kate Middleton's Pranked Nurse Hung Herself & Left 3 Suicide Notes

| Filed under: Royals RoyceR.I.P.Kate MiddletonSad Sad

Devastating news has emerged concerning Jacintha Saldanha — the nurse who transferred the now infamous prank call to Kate Middleton's private carer — and the circumstances surrounding her death.

We previously heard that Jacintha had died of apparent suicide and that a suicide note had indeed been found, but now Coroner's officer Lynda Martindill has revealed that Nurse Saldanha hung herself with a scarf in her home near King Edward VII Hospital.

Jacintha's body was discovered by a hospital employee and a security guard, and physical damage was found on both of her wrists.

Three suicide notes were recovered from various places around the room.

Jacintha — a 46-year-old married mother of two — is survived by Ben Barboza, and their two children Junal (17) and Lisha (14).

May Jacintha and her loved ones she left behind find peace.

i blame this on the royal family, my opinion.

Re: laura – It is much more likely that her own family is a factor in her suicide.

People don't kill themselves over prank phone calls. This whole idea is stupid. She was obviously not well. Too bad Kate didn't help her. Kate is too busy worrying about Kate.

Why are you still showing a photo of Kate in the follow up article on the nurse? Her pic has been released :/

I always find it sad when people are so desperate that they feel committing suicide is the answer. And by the way, coats are hung, people are hanged!

suicide ia a sympton of depression. period.

I think it's obvious who really did this. Anyone seen lost? The nurse released PRIVATE information on THE Royal Family. Princess Diana anyone? hmm….

I'm getting tired of the conspiracy theories and the whole "people don't just kill themselves over prank calls". It isn't the prank call, its the public humiliation that goes with it. It was on lots of news channels, I aired locally on mine. She was humiliated, embarrassed. Maybe she had deeper issues and this was just the icing on the cake, either way, the incident IS enough to make someone kill themselves. I just feel bad for the two children she left behind.

Re: boston61 – how was kate supposed to help her? she wasn't even kate's nurse, and even so, how would she even know about a nurses' state of sanity???

Re: RainbowBrite – i disagree. noone was bashing this nurse. you forget she was the nurse that transferred the call, not the nurse that actually divulged the information. if we follow your argument than the nurse who is primarily speaking on the call would have more of an incentive to kill herself. no?

    Re: frizzz

I thought she was close to Kate. Sorry.

it should be hanged (not hung) when discussing suicide.

Re: maysbabette@yahoo.com – Not a symptom. It's often a desperate way out of the pain of depression.

Re: laura – Agree. I blame it on the existence of Royalty. What bill of goods have you been sold if you support a small group of people, who live lavishly, and then refer to you as a "commoner"? LOL

  18. 18

Get rid of the welfare "Royals"! Kate, if she makes it to the thrown, will be the FIRST Queen of England with a degree from a University. And she's referred to as a "commoner"! How disgusting!

Re: kappuhcheenoh – That would be up to the Brits. Are you a member of the Commonwealth? It's known that the Royals bring in more money through various auspices than they utilize. They also bring leadership and tradition. Oh, and it's 'throne.'

Re: @v@ – Oh, yeah. Kind of like the corporations in the US, buying politicians and in return "creating" jobs, LOL! It's all the same thing. It's called welfare. In the US it's done under the guise of trickle down, but BS. Corporate welfare! In the UK it's done under the guise of class warfare. Same thing. Those in power using whatever means are necessary to stay in power. I prefer the US, at least the middle class aren't called "commoners"!

something isn't right with this story…. 3 suicide notes?

Re: kappuhcheenoh – Actually agree with that comment, but commoner is mostly an antiquated expression now.
