Well, the prestigious Academy behind the Academy Awards seems to think Katy Kat's original song Wide Awake from Katy Perry: Part of Me 3D is worth consideration, thus, Mz. Perry could potentially win a coveted golden statue!

    Being eligible is not anywhere near the same as being a front runner. Twilight is eligible for Best Picture but it sure as hell wont be getting Best Picture. The Best Song and Best Score categories have a lot of complicated, pointless rules about them which means they have to publish a list of eligible songs before they can publish the list of nominations. She might be nominated, but at the moment it means nothing.
