Jacintha Saldanha Honored By Thousands Of Mourners In India

| Filed under: AnglophiliaRoyals RoyceR.I.P.Kate MiddletonSad Sad

Kate Middleton's nurse, who committed suicide last week, was buried today in a funeral held in her hometown of Shirva, India.

About 2,000 people joined Jacintha Saldanha's family at a service held at Our Lady of Health Catholic Church.

The royal aid and mother of two hung herself in her quarters at King Edward VII's hospital in London on December 7 and left specific instructions for her burial in one of her three suicide notes.

At a memorial for Jacintha held on Saturday at Westminster Cathedral in London, husband Benedict Barboza described his grief to the press, saying:

"I feel a part of me has been ripped out."

Jacintha was carried into the church to be laid to rest with Benedict and their 17-year-old son, Junal, at the head of the casket.

What a sad turn of events during such a happy time in the royal family.

R.I.P. Jacintha!

There is nothing honorable about this woman, she left a family behind because she couldn't buck the hell up and just handle that she had made a mistake by TRANSFERRING a call that she shouldn't have she didnt even give out information. To also blame someone else for you commiting suicide is pathetic last i checked they didnt put the noose over her head, prank calls happen on the radio every day and no one would have seen this coming. This woman deserves no sympathy, the only sympathy that should be given is to her family for having to deal with the pain she has caused them.

Re: Tanner – Exactly the way I feel! Suicide is a selfish and cowardly way to die for people who can't handle reality. Seriously, killing yourself over transferring a call? What a waste of human life.

She wasn't even the one that gave out information. She just passed on the call receptionist style. Nurses aren't security experts.
